The CIA & the National Student Association

American delegation parades through Lenin Square.

After WWII, the Soviets began throwing world youth festivals and inviting attendance from student delegations from around the globe. These festivals drew interest from the newly formed CIA, created in 1947, the same year the National Student Association (NSA) was founded in Madison, Wisconsin, for the purpose of attending the Communist youth festivals.

Interestingly, both the CIA and the NSA have strong Catholic connections. William Donovan was an Irishman who ran intelligence operations during WWII and helped craft the CIA charter. Ever since, the agency has had a stack of Malta Knights in leadership positions, and you’ll find the same situation over at the Pentagon. Because of their diplomatic immunity and immense global connections, Knights of Malta are powerful people. As WWII was winding down, German Malta Knights and American Malta Knights worked together on hiding hundreds of war criminals in churches and monasteries until they could be spirited away to new identities in new locations. Many of these war criminals ended up working for the CIA on covert operations. Catholics were especially trusted by the Cold War warriors because they represented a major antagonistic force resisting the spread of Communism, and thus were useful in dialectical operations. Of course, the other major component of the CIA were Freemasons and members of masonic-style secret societies like Yale’s Order of Skull & Bones. Most revolutions (especially the Communist ones) were organized through these masonic lodges. These two powerful groups represented opposing sides of the managed dialectic that was driving the growth of the military industrial complex.

The NSA helped found the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee, which organized the march on Selma and subsequent Voting Rights Act that followed. They also played a role in the formation of the SDS. In 1964, Michael Wood dropped out of college to work on civil rights in the Watts district of Los Angeles. He soon came to the attention of the NSA and was offered a job at their Washington DC headquarters. By this time, the NSA had a million members in over 400 colleges and universities and had grown into an immense operation. Woods was brought in as a fundraiser, but soon noticed there seemed to be little interest in fundraising, and, in fact, the top executives did their own fundraising through their own channels. Woods went to Philip Sherburne, president of the NSA, and announced he needed to have control over all NSA fundraising, or he’d have to resign. Sherberne invited Wood to lunch at Sirloin and Saddle, and that’s when Sherberne violated his secrecy agreement and explained most of the NSA funding was coming from the CIA. Apparently, the pair decided at that lunch this needed to end, for shortly afterwards, CIA funds began to dry up. Wood was blamed for the budget shortfall and soon fired. And after the firing, he told Marc Stone, the son of I. F. Stone, who happened to be the publicist for Ramparts magazine. The magazine staff was incredulous, but began investigating, and that’s when the CIA use of a complex web of foundations for covert funding began to unravel.

The CIA got wind of the investigation and tried to quickly organize a press conference with past NSA presidents, all of whom were willing to testify to the secret relationship while explaining the CIA never influenced NSA policy only provided millions of dollars with zero strings attached. When Ramparts found out about this planned preemptive strike, they placed ads in major newspapers to promote their impending scoop.

In truth, the CIA links inside NSA were first uncovered in 1964 by NSA president Steve Robbins, who was aghast to discover he was participating in a covert intelligence operation. When Robbins confronted his staff with the bad news, nine of them waltzed outside while fishing around their pockets for a dime in order to check in with their agency handlers on nearby payphones. Most of them were specialists in international affairs with offices on the top floor and all had been secretly trained by Langley for their jobs. Apparently, they all went on to bigger and better jobs in the agency. But in 1964, word of this never leaked, and the world may have never known had Wood not been fired a few years later and had lunch with Stone. After the story broke, Wood and some senior NSA officials fled to Greensboro, North Carolina. The NSA was briefly shattered internally as many departed, but that just left the remaining spooks firmly in control.

In 2015, Karen Paget published the expose of this story titled Patriotic Betrayal. She researched for years and assembled a treasure trove of classified documents through the Freedom of Information Act. Paget begins her book by explaining that in 1965 she’d been invited to dinner by two past leaders of the NSA, and later on, at a private residence, she’d been handed a classified file that explained the NSA was run by the CIA and her husband had recently been recruited into the agency. Although most NSA employees were unaware of this relationship, the ones that did were classified as being “witty.” Paget was introduced to her husband’s case officer, code name Aunt Alice, and asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement stating should she ever reveal these secrets to anyone, she’d be liable for a minimum of 20 years in prison.

Karen Paget.

Although Patriotic Betrayal is the best guide to this saga, I have to wonder if it might not be a limited hangout because nothing devastating is revealed beyond the money trail. And the fact the book was published by Yale University Press should raise suspicions that some elements might be missing. Paget violated her secrecy agreement, yet no repercussions followed in the wake of the book’s release. Operations are more complex than most comprehend, and when you have several billion in black funds to play with, the sky is the limit as far as penetrations go. I’m not saying Paget is a spook, although her husband certainly was, at least for a time, only that the documents released to her would have been carefully vetted. It would be naive to believe the vast CIA spook network has diminished over the years. If you wonder why zero national spokespeople on the left or right support independent investigations of 9/11, consider the left and right are parts of the same bird, and both packed with spooks. Very few of these operations will be revealed in our lifetimes. But if you dig around and keep an open mind, you might find evidence of their dialectical games as they unfold before your eyes in real time, because in politics little happens by accident. As JFK was fond to say, “In politics, things are made to happen.”

The CIA & the Student Youth Movement

Kunstler urges blacks to go violent.

The USA was undergoing a zeitgeist shift in the 1960s. Large numbers of teenagers were slipping off the mind control leash and questioning their parent’s knee-jerk support for the Pentagon’s Cold War. The operations put into play to derail and deflect this emerging zeitgeist were immense. Fifty years later, I’m still trying to untangle the complex threads. All it takes is identifying who was pushing violence as their primary solution in the 1960s, and then seeing if that person achieved mysterious mainstream success later on in life.

As a general rule, left-wing terrorists are not given professorships with tenure and pensions by major universities, a trajectory reserved exclusively for spooks. And keep in mind, not all spooks know who they work for, and even the few who do are provided information on a need-to-know basis. When people say 9/11 can’t be an inside job because someone would have talked, keep in mind the CIA was manipulating the student youth movement for decades before anyone spilled any beans. And derailing the student youth movement was a bigger operation involving more conspirators than 9/11.

Bonesman Henry Stimson

William Kunstler, he must have been one of the “good guys,” right? After all, he was director of the American Civil Liberties Union and leader of the National Lawyer’s Guild. Unfortunately, both associations are infested with spooks. The ACLU was founded by Roger Baldwin, Crystal Eastman and Felix Frankfurter.

Felix became personal assistant to New York district attorney Henry Stimson in 1906, who became famous for his trust-busting investigations. Stimson was a Yale Bonesman who eventually served as Secretary of War for both Republicans and Democrats. Most important, he created the Black Eagle Fund to distribute trillions in stolen WWII loot into covert accounts, funds used to foment false flags, manipulate elections and arrange coups favorable to Wall Street around the world. Some of the money was used for operations on the right, some funded operations on the left. Left and right are wings of the same bird, manipulated for a predetermined dialectical outcome.

Felix eventually became a Supreme Court Justice. Clearly, these two men were on the establishment’s inside track. Crystal was sister to Max Eastman, who ran the primary Communist propaganda organ, The Masses, which assisted spook John Reed’s takeover of the socialist movement in America. Later in life, Eastman became a supporter of Senator Joseph McCarthy’s Communist witch-hunt, certainly a dramatic flip-flop. Roger Baldwin began as a devoted Communist as well, once claiming “Communism, of course, is the goal,” although ten years later, he led the purge of Commies out of the ACLU, when his execs were secretly meeting with the FBI and leaking names of members suspected to be red.

Sherman exposed CIA funding of the radical left.

Sherman Skolnick was a Chicago investigator who learned how to locate copies of IRS 990-AR tax forms in public libraries, a document filled out by foundations and available to the public if you knew where to look. Sherman discovered the CIA was routinely using a variety of foundations for financing the radical left. Very soon, he was accusing Rennie Davis, Tom Hayden, Lee Weiner and Jerry Rubin, leaders of the student youth movement, of accepting funds from CIA sources, specifically the Carnegie Foundation, the Student Health Organization, the Institute for Policy Studies, J.M. Kaplan Fund, Aaron E. Norman Fund, New World Foundation, and the Roger Baldwin Foundation. Skolnick claimed the Chicago 7 trial was a staged event and that the Nation magazine, Pacifica Radio, National Public Radio, and Democracy Now were all at least partially CIA-financed. Very few took Sherman seriously at the time and he was branded a conspiracy kook, even though he did manage to take down a string of corrupt judges in Illinois connected to organized crime.

But if you examine the pro bono lawyers representing the Chicago 7, the trajectories into national fame become somewhat suspicious. Aaron Sorkin’s Chicago recreation on Neflix has problems, especially when it comes to the Black Panthers. In the film Bobby Seale is shown taking direction from Fred Hampton. Seale is large and well-built, while Hampton shorter and less athletic. This is the reverse of the truth: Seale was a short, skinny dude compared to Hampton. Seale is bound and gagged only for a few minutes because he erupts following a police assassination of Hampton. In fact, Hampton was not assassinated by police until December, while Seale was gagged in October for multiple days in court before his case was severed from the other seven. The correct chronology is crucial to understanding events.

The film makes it seem Hampton was killed for giving legal advice to Seale, when, in fact, he was killed much later because he was about to become chief-of-staff for the central committee. Hampton was leading the Panthers into non-violence. Only William Kunstler is shown as the group’s lawyer, when, in fact a team of litigators was involved, including Michael Kennedy and his mentor Michael Tigar, both ardent Communists, (or so they claim). This trial was carefully stage-managed and there were multiple intel “influencers” placed in crucial positions. The left and right have always been under supervision, and influencers like Tom Hayden, Jerry Rubin, Jane Fonda, Bill Ayers, and Gloria Steinem behave suspiciously like operatives. In the case of Steinem, the CIA connection has been proven. All social movements of any size are penetrated by alphabet agencies. But no where are intel influences more crucial than among the pro bono lawyers themselves, which is why I suspect Kunstler and Kennedy were operatives, which would explain why they always supported terror while actively encouraging an intel takeover of the SDS.

“The world is a better place without the Kennedy brothers….two of the most dangerous people who ever lived….Any black guy who shoots six cops, and puts the fear of god in police officers, I think is great….If it comes to a revolution, all of my moral scruples would have to go out the window…” –William Kunstler

They missed Kunstler’s combover and hulking gait and made him look way too reasonable. Why was this case dragged on for months on the front pages? The judge was doing a Roland Freisler imitation and it was clear any ruling could be overturned upon appeal, which is exactly what happened. In the sixties the KGB put a huge effort into recruiting leftwing lawyers as secret operatives. You’d be foolish to think the CIA wouldn’t counter that operation by embedding double agents into that sphere, something easily accomplished. The Panthers were infested with agents from a variety of alphabet agencies. Hampton did not rise to the level of “needs execution” until he became nationally known, and his murder was instantly deployed by the Weather Underground to turn the counterculture toward violence, the very thing Hampton was trying to avoid, calling such action “Custeristic.” The trial of the Chicago 7 is a window on the real world once you figure out who the agents are (hint: they push violence as the solution.)

While the FBI was turning black activists against each other, the CIA was providing automatic weapons and C4 to violent blacks and creating groups like the Symbionese Liberation Army to spark race war, same mission their MK/Ultra Charlie Manson was promoting. Hampton was a serious obstacle because he was one of the few counterculture leaders intelligent enough to denounce the tactics of the Weather Underground. They were able to use his murder as the excuse why people needed to “bring the war home.” Dohrn was leading the press on tours of Hampton’s blood-stained apartment a few hours after his murder. It catapulted her into national fame. By taking out the leadership of the counterculture and student revolutions, putting them in jail for months after an excessively long and protracted trial that served to polarize the nation, a leadership vacuum was created. And when Fred Hampton stepped in to fill it, they used his murder to anoint a new leadership in blood.

Today, Rennie Davis is a venture capitalist who runs the Foundation for a New Humanity; Tom Hayden is a former California State Senator who works for Harvard’s Institute of Policy Studies; while Lee Weiner went from the Mossad-infested Anti-Defamation League to becoming Vice President of AmeriCares. “Do-good” organizations make the best covers and fulfilled that role long before John Reed was employed by the Red Cross in Russia.

But this story runs wider and deeper than just the Chicago 7.

In 1969, Fred Hampton was fully illuminated and enlightened, a man with a brain on fire, but tragically he would soon die. In fact, his death was the fulcrum around which the CIA launched an epic attack on the peace movement with coordinated operations from within and without. Examination of the crime yields an understanding of deep politics. At one time, Hampton, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King Jr. were all viewed as potential black messiahs. All were assassinated by the state just for achieving that status, and spooks like Jesse Jackson inserted in their place. In hindsight we can see Hampton’s premeditated murder was mined by counterintelligence.

Hampton had just ended the bitter internal street-gang warfare in Chicago by uniting the various gangs into his “rainbow coalition,” a term he coined. He was a tremendous athlete who could have gone professional in several sports, although he yearned to play center field for the Yankees. He built sports groups instead of gangs, and encouraged multi-cultural activities and ceremonies. He was a tremendous inspiration, especially for James “Chef Ra” Wilson, who deployed Hampton’s tactics to combat racism at Urbana High School, uniting jocks, longhairs, blacks and greasers.

Hampton was not murdered because he was giving legal advice to Bobby Seale, he was murdered because he was the first pacifist elected to a national leadership role the Black Panthers and was leading the organization down a different path.

Six years earlier, on October 31, 1963, an anonymous tip from “Lee” a confidential FBI informant, revealed some men in Chicago were planning to kill JFK, who was due to visit the following day. At the same time, a landlady called police to report four rifles with telescopic sights had been discovered in a room she’d just rented (a room overlooking the route JFK was soon due to follow). The Secret Service was notified and JFK’s trip to Chicago was cancelled. Strangely, Arthur Thomas Vallee was one of the men at the apartment, and he had been previously posted to the CIA’s secret base in Atsuki, Japan, along with Lee Harvey Oswald. The base launched the U-2 spy planes. Both Vallee and Oswald had since been involved with anti-Castro Cubans in New Orleans, and both were moved into offices overlooking imminent presidential parade routes. A Secret Service agent in Chicago blew the whistle on the cover-up of these facts, but he was swiftly silenced and threatened with jail. His name was Abraham Bolden. But the important name to remember is the policeman assigned to spy on Valle: Daniel Groth.

Six years later, Groth arrived at the house where Hampton and several other Black Panthers were asleep. They arrived by firing into the front and back doors simultaneously and then crashed into the apartment. Over 90 shots were fired, from revolvers, machine guns and rifles, and all but one round came from a police weapon, and it hit the ceiling after the Panther holding the gun was fatally wounded. So the police took no incoming fire during the raid. Hampton was sleeping with his pregnant fiance Deborah Johnson (due in 2 weeks) when they were awakened by gunshots coming through the walls. He had been previously drugged by an FBI informant inside the group, who disappeared before the raid began. Consequently, he could not respond to the crisis. The bedroom door flung open and bullets began zipping into room, striking the mattress and walls. Deborah rolled on top of Hampton to shield him, but she was quickly pulled off by two officers, one of whom dragged her to the kitchen. She heard two shots fired from inside the bedroom, and an officer asked, “Is he dead? To which Groth laughed, “he’s good and dead.” Groth had executed the black messiah with two bullets to his head.

Terror is the primary tool of counterintelligence ops, and the murder of Fred Hampton terrorized the counterculture peace movement. Although Hampton was a devoted pacifist, his death would be instantly exploited to turn the peace movement violent. And the steps down that garden path were led by two fringe members of the Students for a Democratic Society who orchestrated a takeover.

Dohrn and her stormtroopers declare war on America.

Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorhn pulled off their takeover of the SDS and it was not unlike the takeover John Reed supervised over the socialist movement many decades earlier. Funny how some people with the same last name were involved with both ops. And wasn’t it convenient Ayers and Dorhn were located in Chicago, and could arrive at Fred Hampton’s murder site and lead the press on tours of the kill zone the following day. Dorhn had graduated from the University of Chicago and become the first law student organizer for the spook-infested National Lawyers Guild.

“We felt that the murder of Fred required us to be more grave, more serious, more determined to raise the stakes and not just be the white people who wrung their hands when black people were being murdered,” Dorhn would later remark. But she didn’t talk like that until years later. In the sixties, she mostly spouted rhetoric like “kill the pigs!” In fact, she celebrated Charlie Manson as a counterculture hero, and declared 1970 the year of the fork and created a three-fingered “fork salute” after the stabbings of the pregnant Sharon Tate by Susan Atkins. “They even shoved a fork into pig Tate’s stomach! Wild!” said Dorhn, comments her husband now contests.

You can’t imagine a more dishonorable act than celebrating the memory of peacemaker Fred Hampton by deploying his death to foment violence, but that’s exactly what the Weather Underground did. They soon declared war on the United States and announced a plan to exterminate all those who supported the government, a sort of insane mass ethnic cleansing of hippies perpetrated against straight people that never had any prayer of success, yet the rhetoric continued for years while the Weather Underground orchestrated terror attacks. Never once have the two leaders expressed regret for lives lost or the ramifications of their evil rhetoric.

Now fast forward and realize despite well-publicized meetings with enemy agents from foreign lands, despite fomenting hundreds of bombings and encouraging blacks and other activists to go violent, despite providing explosives, guns and training to criminally insane characters, and despite being the most wanted domestic terrorists of their time, Dohrn and Ayers walked straight from a life in the underground to university jobs and pensions.

Dohrn and Ayers always had a reputation for the high life. Most of their time in hiding was apparently spent at a luxurious California beach house, sleeping between clean sheets, drinking expensive wines, living a life of relative luxury in comparison to the Weather Underground rank and file they were leading down the CIA dialectical rabbit hole.

“I don’t regret setting bombs,” says Bill Ayers today (even though one killed an innocent San Francisco policeman). “I feel we didn’t do enough.”

Didn’t do enough? The Weathermen disgraced the memory of Fred Hampton, murdering innocent people in his name, and were responsible for co-opting his visionary, peaceful, rainbow coalition.

Meanwhile, Timothy Leary was soon railroaded into jail on trumped up charges, and the Weather Underground were brought in to bust him out. During that episode many press releases went out indicating Leary was now armed and dangerous and supporting the Weather Underground tactics. They wanted him to join forces with Eldridge Cleaver in Algeria to foment an armed insurrection led by black militants. But Cleaver didn’t trust Leary, and after decamping to Switzerland, and then Afghanistan, a letter written by Leary’s wife outlining their future itinerary was discovered by an Orange County police officer who’d made tracking Leary his personal vendetta. Soon Leary was in solitary confinement, being worked over, and eventually agreed to spill the beans on everything he knew about the Weather Underground.

Strangely, spilling the beans never amounted to an arrest of anyone, although it did spurn William Kunstler to make a public plea for Leary’s assassination after Leary fingered Michael Kennedy as the secret leader of the Weather Underground. Kennedy had to go into hiding until he smoke cleared, although he would soon go on to steal High Times magazine from the employees. There are other characters involved with the magazine who also deserve close examination, most notably Ron Rosenbaum, Chip Berlet and AJ Weberman.

Kill the Messenger reveals uncomfortable truths

“If we had met five years ago, you wouldn’t have found a more staunch defender of the newspaper industry than me … And then I wrote some stories that made me realize how sadly misplaced my bliss had been. The reason I’d enjoyed such smooth sailing for so long hadn’t been, as I’d assumed, because I was careful and diligent and good at my job … The truth was that, in all those years, I hadn’t written anything important enough to suppress.” —Gary Webb

Gary Webb never wanted to be anything but an honest investigative journalist and after Watergate exploded in the national news, he dropped out of college three credits short of a degree to take a job as a cub reporter. He spent two decades working his way up the reporter ranks through a half dozen papers, and even participated in a Pulitzer, but then the story of the century dropped in his lap, courtesy of Coral Baca, who would much later be revealed as the wife of Carlos Lehder, founder of the Medellin Cartel.

Baca became aware of Gary after he’d written an expose on forfeiture abuse for a San Jose newspaper. Drug war forfeiture began in the early 1980s and quickly became a major source of law enforcement funding. Baca used Gary as a ploy to help get a drug smuggler friend of hers released from custody. She was working as a manager for the insurance giant AIG when she contacted Gary. Most people are unaware of the deep political connections between AIG and the CIA and their possible involvement in drug money laundering, but if you trace the history of AIG, you’ll find opium funded-anti-communist efforts at its origins. And 80 years later, that was the op Gary bumped into, only this time around it was cocaine funding an illegal Contra war on a Sandinista revolution in Nicaragua.

HBO just added the wonderful and explosive feature, Kill the Messenger, based on the biography by Nick Schou of the same name as well as Gary’s book Dark Alliance. Although produced on a relatively low budget, the film has some big names and provides a riveting account of Gary’s spiral of doom down a CIA-infested rabbit hole. The film leaves Gary’s suicide in 2004 as an open question, although I believe Gary took his own life in a moment of despair. However, the CIA had already destroyed his career and played numerous dirty tricks to break him down emotionally. The last straw seemed to be the theft of his prized cafe racer motorcycle combined with the sale of his home, as he could no longer afford the mortgage payments. He was about to downsize into his mother’s apartment and decided he’d endured enough abuse.

I  was editor of a national magazine when Gary lost his newspaper job and immediately offered him a monthly column. But Gary had a lot of pride and demanded $5 a word, which is more than I could afford. I ended up hiring Mike Ruppert (and eventually regretting that decision).

Had Gary lived, he’d be a rock star journalist today since history has completely vindicated his work. And anyone famous can self-publish with ease these days. Seven corporations with ties to the military-industrial complex no longer have a monopoly stranglehold on publishing like they did two decades ago. At the highest level, these corporations work hand-in-glove to assist the CIA, not investigate it, and that’s the fallacy and myth created by Watergate. When you see investigative reporters getting giant book and film deals and being lionized by the national media, like what happened with Woodward and Bernstein, you are looking at CIA ops in progress, which is why I don’t trust Wikileaks or Snowdon. Gary, on the other hand, was the real deal, a truly honest reporter who just wanted to get to the truth, no matter the consequences. He was not lionized, he was crucified.

Funny when this movie came out in the theaters, it disappeared almost instantly before it could find an audience. Not exactly what happened with All the President’s Men, eh? But now you can watch Kill the Messenger on demand on HBO, at least for this month, so please check it out because it may help open some eyes. And if you want to keep following the rabbit hole even deeper, just subscribe to this blog, because it’s one of the few places that peers into the dark corners.
One thing I’ve learned after 30 years hanging around the marijuana industry: it’s stuffed with spooks and scam artists. When the CIA wanted to use drug profits to prop up a Contra army, they were able to double and triple dip profits along the way. First they fronted a mountain of cocaine to street dealers while arming those dealers with advanced automatic weapons, something that forced the police to militarize in order to combat the street gangs. The military-industrial complex was cashing in on weapons sales on both sides of that divide. Then, after a decade of insane profits, they began taking down the street dealers and having the government seize their assets. They only built them up so they could take it all away later. And only the spooks walk free to dance through the raindrops and nary a drop lands on them.

You’ll find similar games played in world of cannabis.

If you want to check out a recent documentary that covers Gary’s story, I suggest Freeway: Crack in the System by Marc Levin.

Was the Yippie-Zippie schism a CIA plot?

Tom Forcade came to New York City from Arizona to work for the Underground Press Syndicate (UPS) formed by six of the largest underground newspapers in 1966, a list that included the East Village Other. When Tom arrived, the UPS offices and archives were located in Jim Fouratt’s apartment, but soon moved into Tom’s after he took over.

The summer of 1966 it became obvious a new zeitgeist was sweeping through American youth. The acolytes of this geist were certainly easy to spot with their long hair. Intel had a serious problem in that most of these were 15-17 years old. It would take time and effort to build influencers to corral these untamed youth. So a massive effort was put into place to demonize the emerging culture. Suddenly, just having long hair was enough to get one brutalized while walking down the street.

Intel didn’t have a problem identifying who the hippie messiah was as it was obvious the folksinger Bob Dylan had inspired most of these teens, awakened their political consciousness and convinced them cannabis was a good thing, although the cannabis content had be carefully veiled. The Beatles had also been inspired by Dylan and were much more upfront about the importance of cannabis. It was the Beatles who kicked off the change in hair style away from the military crew cuts most teens had in the early 1950s.

The following summer, however, an event took place that had repercussions on the future of the counterculture. Israel launched a secret attack on Egypt’s air force before invading the Sinai, Golan Heights, West Bank and Jerusalem. The Egyptian retreat from Sinai was a lot like Iraq’s retreat from Kuwait. Israel captured the crucial buffers they sought to protect their borders, but also knew they had created a united Arab coalition that would some day take revenge, but that would not unfold for another five years.

Meanwhile, fund raising efforts to support Israel ran to a fever pitch, and the Mossad created an additional income stream through the distribution of Lebanese hashish, the famous “red Leb.” A lot of the distribution was done through prominent rabbis, who were encouraged to locate people inside the emerging counterculture who might help with the distribution.

Immense efforts were made to corral Dylan into intel ops, but he wisely decided to disappear, refusing all efforts to anoint him as the leader of the hippies. Into this vacuum stepped Abbie Hoffman and Tim Leary.

Hoffman had been profoundly influenced by a visit to California, where he met many of the original Diggers, who deployed street theater to steer people away from blind obedience to authority. Hoffman was also influenced by David Dillinger, a Yale-, Oxford- and Columbia-educated son of a rich Republican, whose family had strong links into the Daughters of the American Revolution. Dillinger was a pacifist who had refused to serve during WWII and afterwards became an important activist for civil rights for Southern blacks, a campaign Hoffman joined.

Intel, meanwhile, was busy building influencers inside the Civil Rights movement. They already had plenty of operatives running the rightwing opposition to that movement embedded into hate groups like the KKK.

The Yippies were founded in December of 1967 by Hoffman, Paul Krassner (who came up with the name), and Jerry Rubin. Krassner was running the most influential counterculture fanzine, The Realist, which had been publishing since the early sixties. Krassner had been the youngest child to solo at Carnegie Hall, and claimed in his autobiography that he’d been brainwashed by constant practicing and had never experienced anything close to a normal childhood. He had difficulty socializing, although his bond with Hoffman and Rubin was instantaneous.

Reverend George von Hilsheimer came to assist Krassner with his new magazine almost immediately. He wanted to create a Summerhill-like school for counterculture kids and used the Realist to recruit students and teachers. This effort was funded by Krassner to the tune of $50 a week. The school, named Summerland in homage to Summerhill, soon manifested outside Rosman, North Carolina.

One week after being opened, however, the school was attacked by local townspeople who began firing guns, setting off bombs, and burning down the cabins that constituted the school. Some townspeople claimed homosexuality, Communism and race mixing were part of the school’s secret agenda.

Hilsheimer moved on to Florida to establish Green Valley, a boarding school for wayward youth in Orange City, Florida. In 1973, that school was raided by the local authorities after strange stories of von Hilsheimer’s use of electro sleep, vivid confrontation, mega vitamins, hypode-sensitization and electro-shock as therapies. There was a strange batch of new age quacks brought in to educate the children. In 1968, Michael Waker, 18, killed himself with a pistol Hilsheimer had allowed him to purchase. Another suicidal student was also offered a pistol but declined. That same year, Bill Ayers, son of one of the richest men in Chicago, created a similar Summerhill-type school in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Ayers would soon go underground as one of the principle leaders of the terrorist Weather Underground. He would spend the next decade urging his flock to kill police and distribute weapons and explosives to disturbed blacks recently released from either Vietnam or prison. The SLA that kidnapped Patti Hearst was just one of their many side projects. The Weather Underground used sex, drugs and group hypnosis to program people into accepting violence as the only way to cure America’s ills.

I can’t say whether Krassner was played by Hilsheimer or was a knowing participant in his MK/Ultra-style operation. Later in life I confronted him on some of these matters. I never could understand how he was blind to the reality that Jerry Rubin was an intel operative. Dillinger seems to have been the person who injected Rubin into the scene. Rubin’s opening act was appearing in Congress dressed like Pancho Villa and carrying an automatic rifle. Certainly, this was a blatant attempt by intel to steer the hippies towards violence, or at least create that impression in Middle America.

Charles Manson would soon appear an the dominant hippie archetype. This was all certainly part of the same operation. The Weather Underground initially hailed Manson as their culture hero. Krassner spent a lot of time covering the Manson trial and got close to his flock, but abandoned the story. It would take decades for some of Manson’s suspicious connections to MK/Ultra to emerge.

The biggest problem with uncovering MK/Ultra was the fact the original expose was written by the editor of the East Village Other. The book’s foreword thanked such obvious intel operatives as John Foster “Chip” Berlet and MI6 super spook William Stephenson.

Take note that the Weathermen took their name from a Bob Dylan song, while an associate of Berlet’s became on of the biggest pot dealers in New York City while also writing a book falsely claiming E. Howard Hunt was one of the men taken into custody after JFK’s assassination. This was obviously a rabbit hole devised by James Angleton himself. And really just a sliver of the misdirection ops released like flares from a jet with a heat-seeking missile on it’s tail.

An even more important misdirection was the creation of the wacky Illuminati theories first presented by Kerry Thornley, a Marine based at Atsugi alongside Lee Harvey Oswald. Thornley would also create a fake religion called Discordianism, which was designed to create as much noise and confusion around every possible deep state event. Krassner would be introduced to this concept by Robert Anton Wilson, who soon wrote a completely bogus softcore porn trilogy about the Illuminati. All this was like done to obscure the fact that some of Yale’s Skull & Boners had assisted the JFK hit, and that fraternity was the only secret society known to be using Adam Weishaupt’s rituals and modus operandi.

Tom Forcade would temporarily join forces with Weberman to create an alternative to the Zippies. Weberman, meanwhile, had been stalking and hounding Bob Dylan, and began claiming he alone knew the real Dylan. His crackpot analysis of Dylan’s lyrics reminds me of the crackpot theories of Q-Anon. If you are going to make up lies, make them whoppers so they’ll be more likely believed by the dumbest among us.

The confrontation between Yippies and Zippies was designed to unfold during the Republican Convention in Miami in 1972, which effectively became the Waterloo for the Anti-War Movement. The movement had gotten a big push after the police riot at the Democratic Convention in Chicago, but all that was washed away when the hippies rioted in Miami. Take note that during the convention, the hotel where the Yippies were holed up was suddenly flooded with free Quaaludes, while the Zippies flooded Flamingo Park with free LSD.

According to Joe Barton, a major pot dealer of the period, Forcade began working with a Mossad agent on a big project shortly after arriving in New York. According to Barton, this agent eventually committed suicide. Tom used to tell this Barton if the Feds ever came after him, he had information that would embarrass them. But it wasn’t long before Tom committed suicide as well.

Weberman momentarily funded a militia training camp in the Catskills for volunteers wishing to help defend Israel from Arab annihilation.

Strange that a book by intel operative Roger Stone published a few years ago claims Frank Stugis (misidentified by Weberman as another of the tramps) was enlisted a few years after the JFK hit to help assassinate President Richard Nixon.

According to Stone, the CIA feared Nixon was going dovish on Vietnam, and they also greatly resented his detente move with China. Sturgis was told to procure weapons and make preparations for staging a confrontation between Yippies versus Zippies that would erupt in gunfire. During this melee, Sturgis was to make sure Nixon got fatally shot.

Sturgis went ahead and got the guns, but when it was revealed who the target was, he backed out. Later on, the CIA employed the Watergate burglary as a set-up to unseat Nixon.

Stone also claims Lyndon Johnson engineered the Kennedy assassination, and while Johnson may have been made aware of the plot, it’s unlikely his power extended to the top of the Pentagon and CIA. So even though Stone is a beltway insider once close to Nixon, I don’t trust his information on key issues. But he does bring interesting information to the table.

Some say Nixon bought his detente move with China by returning one of hundreds of funds created from black market gold stolen during WWII and then disappeared. Much of that gold originated in China and had been buried in the Philippines before being washed by Opus Dei working with some Bonesmen. At least that’s the story I’ve been able to piece together.

But now I’m wondering about the double agents planted inside the Zippies and Yippies who supposed to instigate a melee so Nixon could be killed. Strange that the Yippie-Zippie split was so well-known at the highest levels of the CIA, as if they had a hand in instigating it.

To topple the central banking monopoly, just Occupy Bitcoin

logoI made a foray down to Zuccotti Park and enjoyed the Rainbow Family vibes of the encampment, but I always suspected the movement was penetrated by spooks early on since the ad campaign that launched the movement was initially funded by a Wall Street insider.
You probably haven’t heard much about the Occupy Movement lately, and winter often has a way of damping down outdoor demonstrations, but I can fill you in on the latest big developments: There’s an active branch of the movement called Occupy the SEC, who are attempting to influence the Securities and Exchange Commission, the agency created after the Stock Market Crash of 1929 to regulate the stock market. Since Occupy the SEC is well covered in the CIA-run Washington Post, one wonders if it might be a case of a controlled opposition leading the charge against the establishment? Certainly their professional website shows zero evidence of counterculture leanings. I really shouldn’t mouth off about the group, however, since I’ve done zero research and it could be a group of well-intentioned lawyers, but just the fact they can afford to mount serious litigation and have it covered glowingly in the Post leaves me wondering.
Screen Shot 2014-01-02 at 12.38.16 PMHere’s the other big news: for $42 you can order a giant poster of the Zuccotti Park encampment in its prime from Walmart. Here’s how Walmart describes it on their website: “Occupy Wall Street at Zuccotti Park, Lower Manhattan, Manhattan, New York City, New York State, USA is a licensed reproduction that was printed on Premium Heavy Stock Paper which captures all of the vivid colors and details of the original. The image size is 27 x 9 inches. This print is ready for hanging or framing and would make a great addition to your home or office.”
I’ve joined a different movement, one I actually think has a good chance of success. Strange how few activists are promoting bitcoin, although I’m seriously investing in this new frontier as a way to stick it to the man. I wanted to get in much earlier, but didn’t have the loose cash available, or I’d already likely be a bitcoin millionaire by now.
bitcoin1But what really sealed the deal is the way the media kept attacking this new money system. All the high-powered economists and major newspapers were predicting a quick demise after it shot from $200 to $1,200 in one month, and then fell back down to $500 when China’s banks stopped trades until further notice. One website posted diagrams of the Dutch tulip bubble next to the bitcoin bubble and claimed they were tracking identical paths.
So I started buying when they were selling for $540. It’s been on a rocky road ever since, and thanks to the hacks of a number of exchanges, price now hovers between $300 and $400.
But in five years, I expect that to be much higher.
Only 21 million bitcoins can be produced and around half have already been mined and the codes grow increasingly complex and the coins are harder to mine as we go on. After all 21 million coins are in circulation, their value mint skyrocket to some ridiculous figure, but you won’t live to see that day.
In 2014, I wrote this book to promote Bitcoin, and although the figures are out-of-date, the philosophy behind why we should support it is not.

Requiem for the Underground Media

The alternative media is officially dead. Although hundreds of independent newspapers flourished in the late 1960s, most did not survive the 1970’s and those that did were absorbed into the corporate media system, becoming editorially hollow advertising cash cows while they lasted. The whole point of creating your own newspaper in the 1960s was because all the media were spewing status-quo propaganda. Even now, with the internet dismantling print media and offering unlimited options for serving content, the so-called “alternative” news sites never question the pathetic official 9/11 story or suggest a CIA/Mafia/Pentagon/Texas Oil Cartel conspiracy murdered JFK.
The op to disarm and dismantle the counterculture media was prolonged and the battle took place on many fronts. I started my own newspaper in 1968 in Urbana, Illinois, and was swiftly targeted by a State Narcotics Task Force, who set me up on bogus charges, while rousting me out of high school in handcuffs and shaming my parents at the local country club. That was one of the fronts: round up and imprison the alpha male founders of the alternative media.

I’d hung an Eldridge Cleaver for President poster in my second floor bedroom window and then went downstairs to see how it looked from the street. I’ll never forget my dad’s reaction to seeing that poster while he was hitting his practice golf ball in the side yard. Man, he took off full speed and ripped that poster out of the window and told me never to do that again. He said it sent the wrong message to our neighbors and we’d just recently moved into the neighborhood.

Funny how back in the day many of the brightest journalists wanted to get into investigative reporting. The Washington Post, a propaganda tool of the CIA decided to capture the center of energy on investigative journalism so they served up Nixon, maybe because he gave some of the stolen gold the Japanese had hidden in the Philippines back to China to buy his detente move. For whatever reason, Yale graduate Bob Woodward, a spook and secret bisexual, was transformed into a Knight in Shining Armor to lead the charge of investigators everywhere…..that’s a second front. Use your inside position to manufacture fake whistle blowers who initially release real solid info to establish credentials, but quickly switch to some absurd rabbit hole, like we never landed on the moon, lizard shape-shifting aliens rule the world, chemtrails, Elvis is alive, or Sandy Hook never happened.

I get the feeling the current generation of journalists cringe at the mere mention of 9/11. Although they realize the system is rigged by corrupt politics hidden from view, they also realize showing interest in that corruption is a sure way to end a promising journalism career. Since a handful of companies own the entire system, if you want a job (and jobs are really hard to find), better not be rocking the boat.

Of course, back in the late 1960s, you could rent a 4-bedroom house in Urbana for $150 a month, and work a minimum wage job and survive. But during the last fifty years, the system has evolved to extract increasing amounts of profit from every aspect of our lives. Womb to tomb, we are mined for profit, and most people work themselves silly just keeping their heads above water at this point, and after 30 years don’t possess a secure retirement, since all it takes is a medical problem, divorce, firing, or lawsuit to wipe you out.

Unfortunately, at this stage of the game, it’s virtually impossible for any truly honest underground media to emerge, because even if it did, it would be quickly penetrated and subverted, which is probably what happens to any big internet companies. In one form or another, The Octopus comes a knocking at your door, offers a deal you can’t refuse: play ball and become rich beyond your wildest dreams, or go rouge and and run the risk of getting whacked or busted down to nothing. The CIA and Sicilian Men of Honor are just two tentacles connected to this gigantic beast run by old money. For this class of people, war is a game rigged for milking profits and best played when both sides are funded by the same banks.

I’m currently available for hire to any media company interested in my brand of journalism as I recently got divorced from High Times. I specialize in conspiracy research and counterculture history. Marijuana, in case you didn’t know it, is a conspiracy story, because why else would the world’s most beneficial plant be outlawed everywhere, except through a massive conspiracy?

The Privatization of Intelligence

If you think the prisons are being privatized, check out the secret services. Ever since Iran-Contra blew a window open on arms and drug smuggling, covert teams formerly run by the CIA started disappearing and reforming under new ownership.

The master of counter-intelligence was James J. Angleton, and to give an idea of his operations, Jay Lovestone (above), the most powerful Marxist in the Labor Movement, was one of his secret agents. Angleton is now an adjective and “Angletonian” means “an overly-complex operation.” To give an example, Angleton created a CIA within the CIA to keep tabs on everyone in the CIA. But then later set-up a CIA within the CIA within the CIA, in his quest to find a suspected mole at the highest levels of government, a mole he never found, unless you count his participation in the JFK assassination cover-up as the removal of the mole.

After being trained by British intelligence, Angleton started work as the Vatican connection to the CIA, but soon picked up the Israeli connection after WWII. Those two power centers are closer than you might think, and even seem to share some of the same bankers. Needless to say, British intelligence has deep connections into both. The CIA was created as a sort of merger of MI6 with Nazi and Vatican spy networks.

After the war, recently arrived Jewish immigrants into New York (people who’d been heavily traumatized and thus excellent subjects for propaganda operations) were recruited into Marxism. This was a heavily-funded project and many were easily led down this path, never mind Marxism never seemed to manifest anything but fascist dictatorships, steel fists with velvet veneers.

Many of our leading universities became breeding grounds where these young Jewish Marxists were trained and indoctrinated for future roles in shaping public policy. In the late sixties, Lyndon LaRouche trolled these grounds to build his private intelligence agency, but the John Birch Society really pioneered this privatization of intelligence. Strange how LaRouche built his network with college-age Jews while the Birchers blocked all Jews from becoming members for years, although both groups came to essentially the same conclusions on world events.

The Neo-Con movement was composed of former Marxists who’d been reconditioned for a new mission: to pave the road to war with Iraq and Afghanistan, never mind those wars nearly bankrupted our nation. Their credibility may be shot, but they still hold six-figure salaries and high positions in finance, government and the media.

Which brings me to this guy: George Friedman. Time magazine started promoting him in 1999. But in 2001, Barron’s put him on the cover and ran a huge puff piece concerning his Austin-based company Statfor, supposedly the world’s most effective private intelligence agency. You might wonder, who is this dude and where did he come from? (First, however, consider the messenger: Barron’s is owned by the News Corp, part of their Dow Jones umbrella along with the Wall Street Journal.)

Friedman was just a lowly political science professor at Dickinson College in Pennsylvania for 20 years, but he must have been some sort of spook because he was giving national security lectures to the Army War College and Air Force’s RAND. He wrote a book called “The Coming War with Japan,” so he has a viable plan on keeping the war economy going just in case the phony Arab boogie-man magic show breaks down and we suddenly need to put a more powerful opponent into play.

And if that wasn’t bona fides enough, along comes Wikileaks releasing a lot of Stratfor email chatter, including a conversation between Stratfor and head of security for Walmart. That must have sold a lot of companies on signing up for Stratfor’s subscription service which costs $40,000 a year. That or the fact Coca-Cola was also revealed as a client.

This is Ken Sensor. He used to work for the FBI and CIA, but now he makes big bucks for Walmart. You know the anti-Walmart websites? Sensor runs some of those because he’s a well-trained spook in the post-Angleton era, and knows the value of counter-intelligence operations. So he has sock puppets on both sides of the divide. Anyway, a Walmart employee in Mexico got a threatening email demanding removal of a new security measure on the website or watch your relatives start dying. Sensor sent the threat, written in Spanish, to Stratfor and got the following response:

Subject: Re: CONFIDENTIAL – Question Regarding Gulf Cartel
Ken –Our initial read –The Spanish grammar and spelling is similar to that used by the Gulf Cartel and Los Zetas, however the excessive use of the ‘z’ leads me to believe it might have been Los Zetas, but that is more a personal hunch than any pictures or other messages I have seen. Have not heard of the this email address or tactic before. There are a lot of bad guys posing as Zetas or Gulf, just for the fear factor, and it could be just some posers. One aspect to consider is narco taxes. Perhaps this person owes money or narco taxes for protection? There is no business in MX untouched by this. If your folks aren’t telling Hqs about it, it would not surprise me.

If you’ve been following this blog, you know I think Wikileaks is an Angletonian-style project and strongly suspect this Wikileaks/Stratfor connection is just a window on the dynamics of building deep intelligence operations. Notice this email actually contains zero useful information, and one wonders why Wikileaks even thinks this is a “leak” of anything at all.

Last year, Max Fisher wrote an amusing story in the Atlantic titled: “Stratfor is a Joke and so is Wikileaks for Taking It Seriously.” Fisher characterized their subscription service as “getting The Economist a week later and several hundred times more expensive.”

James Jesus Angleton is a key to the JFK assassination

AngletonIn the 1960s, he was known around Langley by his CIA code name: Kingfisher.

It’s probably not a good idea to take on an exalted title like that unless you have some real power to wield and as the director of counterintelligence, Angleton was responsible for a lot of the dirty tricks at CIA during his reign. He’s become the subject of dozens of books and movies, most recently The Good Shepherd, although his multiple connections to the JFK hit never seem to surface in the mainstream media.

Angleton got his powerful post after serving as the Vatican’s OSS liaison during WWII, working closely with Allen Dulles to shield important Nazis who were given new jobs working for US interests after the war. According to Angleton, before getting his promotion, he had to promise Dulles never to put him or any of his Wall Street-connected cronies on lie detectors in order to question them about financial relations with Germany during the war. You see, many US corporations employed neutral countries to trade with the enemy, including Standard Oil, a company owned by Dulles’ cousin by marriage David Rockefeller. If you want to get really rich during war, sell to both sides.

Not only did Angleton remain in charge of the important CIA-Vatican connection, he also became the strategic CIA link to Israel and their efficient Mossad, an intelligence agency not hampered by red tape.
The sad reality is that after he got his post, Angleton was swiftly compromised by British double agent Kim Philby, who gleaned many secrets before departing back to England. Philby had spent many nights plying the chain-smoking Angleton with liquor so they could talk shop. The main subject of conversation was the suspected mole inside British intelligence who kept the KGB one step ahead of Angleton, and who might that mole be? Before long, a nest of Soviet spies (the Cambridge 5) was uncovered and a few revealed, although Philby was exonerated and Victor Rothschild never seriously investigated. Philby began working as a journalist covering the Middle East, while secretly reporting to MI6. But in 1961, Anatoliy Golitsyn, a KGB major, defected to the West and established his bona fides by offering up Philby as KGB and part of the Cambridge ring that had been operating since before WWII.

CIA spook William Buckley would write the first major book on how Angleton went crazy after Philby was unmasked. Buckley is Skull & Bones and card carrying member of the oligarchy, just like Angleton, only maybe a little higher on the pecking order. But Golitsyn was a fake defector seeding disinfo. His major thrust was that many highly placed people in Western power were really KGB, just like Philby. Golitsyn even claimed British Prime Minister Harold Wilson was a KGB spy. And he also claimed there was another KGB spy was very high up in the US government as well. Obviously, these rabbit holes served mostly to amp up Angleton’s paranoia. He’d spend the next few years hunting for an imaginary highly-placed mole in Washington DC, and at one point accused just about everyone in power. Did Golitsuyn also finger JFK as well as Wilson? I think this seems pretty likely. Strangely, Golitsyn became an Honorary Commander of the British Empire. And what do you think would have happened if Angleton had written a report saying JFK was a Soviet spy? Would that have justified a national security project to remove JFK from power?

But after JFK was assassinated, along came a real Soviet defector name Yuri Nosenko, who arrived in 1964. Since Nosenko did not concur with much of anything Golitsyn had been saying, and, in fact, was more highly situated and knew more than Golitsyn, Nosenko was held prisoner for four years and tortured continuously and fed LSD and other drugs in an attempt to break him down. And the entire time Angleton kept telling everyone Nosenko was a fake whose only mission was to discredit Golitsyn.

In retrospect Angleton seems borderline incompetent since he’d been played by Philby and Golitsyn. One wonders how Angleton kept his job so long, although keep in mind his files were probably more explosive than J. Edgar Hoover’s.

The George Bush connections to JFK’s assassination

I guess you know Dealey Plaza was flooded with spooks 50 years ago. One young spook at the scene may have been George H.W. Bush, who was working deep cover for the CIA through his fledgling oil company Zapata, building platforms in the Gulf of Mexico, some of which were designed as resupply depots for the anti-Castro network operating out of Miami. The Miami CIA office had become the biggest in the world outside Langley and they had been training an army of refugees to re-take Cuba from the commies. Check out the picture of someone who looks just like Bush in front of the School Book Depository. By the way, Bush says he “can’t remember” where he was when JFK was murdered, despite several FBI memos relating his interest in the case. Also, if that isn’t Bush standing on the steps of the Depository, whoever it might be has never come forward to clear Bush from any involvement.

William “Wild Bill” Harvey

A very important and very secret CIA operation against Cuba involved the CIA’s most gung-ho boom-and-bang cowboy, William “Wild Bill” Harvey teaming up with mafia assassin Johnny Roselli to kill Castro, a mission JFK apparently decided to shut down after the Cuban missile crisis. Both Bush and Roselli developed a fondness for the speed boats used to ferry weapons and explosives into Cuba. But when JFK discovered the CIA’s anti-Castro operations weren’t being shut down, he forcibly closed the training camps and told James Angleton to fire William Harvey.

Instead, Harvey was quietly moved to Italy and then secretly consulted for the JFK hit. There were a lot of CIA people in Dallas that day, although most may not have know much about what was about to happen. In the CIA everything tends to get compartmentalized and very much on the “need to know” basis.

The first piece of evidence to tie Bush to the assassination was a memo written by J. Edgar Hoover the day after the assassination that revealed “George Bush of the CIA” reported by phone on the activities of some “misguided Cubans.” One wonders what the purpose of this memo was? Was Hoover tying a Bush family member into the scene to cover his own ass? I guess you know CIA Cuban exiles provided the support team that assisted JFK’s CIA-mob assassination team. And it’s only because of the testimony of some mob figures and Cuban exiles that we know what happened that day as no one from inside the CIA has ever spoken out, or at least spoken out and lived. But then something even more interesting turned up more recently.

This memo was written the day of the assassination and claims private citizen George Bush called the FBI immediately after the assassination to point a finger at a student named James Parrott. Was this call really placed from Tyler, Texas, and how easy would it have been to place a call from a hotel in Dallas and route it through an office in Tyler for the sole purpose of giving Bush an alibi?

No doubt Harvey assisted Angleton in building the MI5-CIA-Mossad-Vatican alliance, a base that gave him immense influence. Even after Angleton was removed as head of counterintelligence (and painted as a paranoid fool by many inside the agency), he could not be fired nor fully retired as his field operatives were just too important.

Roselli was not so lucky. After participating in the JFK assassination and helping with the coverup, Roselli thought he was untouchable. He was railroaded into jail and while there spilled the beans on the assassination. When he got out he would turn up in pieces in an oil drum floating in Biscayne Bay, where he had once raced his favorite speed boat on runs to Cuba and back. Knowing Handsome Johnny’s penchant for profit, one might assume Johnny was running guns and explosives one way, while bringing drugs back the other.

A hitman for the KKK dies through lethal injection

| Tribune File Photo Joseph Paul FranklinJoseph Paul Franklin was a hitman for the KKK. At least that’s what he told a prostitute he’d hired one night. He traveled around the country for years, doing random murders, some of which seem to have been politically motivated. His targets were always black or Jewish, or white girls who dated blacks or Jews. Franklin shot porn publisher Larry Flynt, paralyzing him for life. This was at a time when Flynt taking on the CIA through his JFK investigation, as well as taking on the magazine distribution cartel.
Funny how nowhere does anyone talk about this longhaired rightwing dude who was traveling around the country, staying in motels, eating in diners, buying ammo at gun shops, and having a car and gas, and yet never seemed to have a source of income?
He got caught through a freak accident really, or he might still be killing, and since he immediately said he was sorry and repented his sin and said he’s no longer a racist and sorry for all the damage he did, if you can believe that story, well, that means he’s going to heaven because he is a devout Mormon.
Franklin was abused and unwanted as a child and drifted into the extreme elements of right wing hate, groups heavily penetrated by intelligence agents and likely run by them. The Ku Klux Klan started as a cell inside Freemasonry, and Freemasonry reaches deep into the power structure. The KKK is a white trash version of Skull & Bones and attracts the dumbest people who are easily hoodwinked and manipulated into terrorist activities. However, what surprises me is how similar Franklin’s philosophy was to Charlie Manson’s. Both said they wanted to “ignite a race war.” I find that odd, especially since that mission started with the Process Church of Final Judgment, a British spinoff from Scientology, who taught first it to Charlie in the Haight. But who taught it to Franklin?
Oh yeah, Franklin was executed by chemical injection yesterday, after years on death row.
