Marita Lorenz was 19 when she first met Fidel Castro, having just arrived in Cuba from her homeland in Germany. She soon became Castro’s lover and met an American named Frank Forini who was working with Castro. Forini’s comrade-in-arms E. Howard Hunt wrote an espionage book detailing Forini’s true life exploits as a spook using “Sturgis” as his cover name. Within a few years, Forini legally changed his name to Sturgis.
Sturgis had an interesting life, having been a Marine and served in Army intelligence, been a policeman, then become a pilot, and he’d also run some bars and nightclubs in his hometown in Virginia. Eventually, Sturgis became a full-time spook working with the CIA and claimed to have helped trained Fidel and Che’s 400 initial troops, but later turned against them after they went Communistic. Pretty soon Sturgis and Lorenz were plotting how to poison or blow up Castro with a cigar filled with TNT.
Sturgis was involved in Operation 40, a CIA assassination squad, and certainly knew some details of the Kennedy assassination, as did Lorenz. However, both were played by the CIA and used as counterintelligence tools to seed rabbit holes and misdirections. Although Sturgis was initially identified as one of the three tramps, along with Hunt, this turned out to me an immense rabbit hole. Decades would pass before researchers began to fathom the truth. Hunt and Sturgis were used as backstops.
But after Sturgis was caught at the Watergate complex and convicted, he sued the Committee to Re-elect President and the case was settled out-of-court. Sturgis believed he was acting on orders from the White House in a matter of deep national security, looking for evidence involving the JFK assassination supposedly held in a safe by the heads of the Democratic Party. According to Sturgis, this evidence had been collected by Cuban spooks investigating the case for Castro.
One of the major misdirections employed with the JFK operation had been to blame the assassination on Castro, which is why the designated patsy was sheep-dipped as a Castro supporter who’d just recently visited the Cuban embassy in Mexico. Sturgis was part of the plan leaking info pointing towards Castro, but he also became a major suspect in the case himself.
Why then did LBJ call the Operating Room at Parkland and demand that Dr. Crenshaw get a deathbed confession from Oswald (who was essentially already dead and never regained consciousness), to be received by a gun toting thug who had barged into the operating room without mask or cap, thus breaking the sterile protocol always in place in operating rooms?
I don’t see how the call to the hospital changes anything I have written. LBJ was trying to tie up all the loose ends, obviously. The CIA did not want a real investigation, and if they extracted a death bed confession from Oswald it would have quickly closed the case.
But keep in mind, that supposed phone call from LBJ to Oswald’s hospital bed has never been proven to have existed. Perhaps someone called impersonating LBJ or maybe the entire story was fabricated as mud in the water. I just don’t know, but this phone call is a minor factoid.

This case has more rabbit holes than Alice in Wonderland, and I sense this fabricated meeting is one of them. And the inclusion of a Rothschild agent just adds to its dubious nature. To avoid conflict that could have started a potential war. This is what they wanted, and LBJ wanted to avoid it at all costs, why do you think he formed the Warren Commission to solely blame it on Oswald? The didn’t get their war with LBJ, but they did get the next best thing and that was to keep on infiltrating Cuba, running amok. LBJ even supported them in their cause for a Cuban government in exile. Kennedy shut them down and got assassinated, Nixon shut them down too and resigned, that was called Watergate.

I am Marita’s daughter and we would like to respond to an error in your article. Marita and Frank Sturgis were NOT lovers . You also forgot to mention what a low life Frank was as to spread that rumor to discredit Marita. For your next writing venture ,I would recommend you do your homework before misrepresenting historical figures such as my Mother.

I agree 100% with Monica. But to the researchers, the question remains of what role, it any, did Marita Loranz play in assassination of Pres. Kennedy. I don’t think Marita’s daughter, Monica has any idea the connection her mother played in the assassination. I compliment her for sticking up for her mother and her reputation, but still, I have yet to read anywhere the reason why Marita is even mentioned when discussing the assassination.
Several years ago I tried to talk to Monica but was turned down for any conversation request. My purpose of wanting to speak to Marita’s daughter was to clarify to her, her mothers role in the assassination. I am privy to knowledge of the shooters who killed the president in Dealey Plaza. My late wife was the shooter on the grassy knoll. For the assassination, my wife used the alias name of Marita Loranz. She did not know if the real Marita was aware of this use of her name.
The organizers of the assassination hired a commando squad known as Alpha 66 to carry out the actual killing of the President. My wife was a member of that group. The true names of the members of Alpha 66 who participated in the assassination was never revealed to any of the organizers. But in the time leading up to Friday, Nov. 22, the alias names were known to the insiders, whoever they may be. It’s my guess the name of Marita Loranz was tossed out to create an alibi for the person who would be known as the Grassy Knoll Shooter. It is also true that the story of her and Frank Sturgis driving into Dallas from Miami has been accepted. The story of Frank and Marita meeting at a motel in Dallas on the Thursday before the killing is true. The person, aka the grassy knoll shooter was also at the motel. In fact, the grassy knoll shooter slept in the back seat of the car that would be used as the getaway vehicle Thursday night.
The point of this message is to relate to any researchers that the real Marita Loranz was innocent of any crime resulting from the assassination of President Kennedy.

I don’t think Hunt was ever in line for CIA head, that job was being held special for G.H.W. Bush, who rides much higher in the oligarchy. Yes, LBJ had to be told in advance because they needed his help for the cover-up. But LBJ knew they could just as easily whack him if he stepped out of line like JFK did.
LBJ wasn’t the mastermind of the assassination, true. He fulfilled the role of third world tinpot corrupt politician that has been exploited overseas so often. This is not true, and this is not what Watergate was about, only half of what Sturgis says is true, and there was evidence against them regarding JFK’s assassination, Sturgis says that, but it wasn’t at the DNC.
Sturgis knew who had it, there’s more to the DNC story then what folks publish, in-fact, several senators including Senator Ted Kennedy was on the blacklist to be bribed, most folks don’t even know what Watergate was truly about or who the sixth burglar was, most everyone if not everyone didn’t even know that Watergate was called the “Big Project” to finance another invasion to recapture Cuba. There really is a lot of stuff on the internet today that most folks have no clue.
The real reason Sturgis sued the committee was to show the anti-Castro Cubans in Miami that he was appointed to be apart of the team while searching for evidence that Fidel Castro was supporting the Democratic committee, that was a load of crap, has any of the burglars ever said what they did with the money given to them which was received by the White House? No one ever talks about that, yet, they were suppose to use these funds to recapture Cuba? Problem was, Nixon stopped paying, he had to go!
