Strange the Holy Grail remains our central myth, yet few pay attention to its origins. Probably because those origins are steeped in cannabis.
Herodotus, the father of western history, first documented the three sacred golden gifts (plow/yoke, axe and cup) bequeathed to Greece’s ancient northern neighbors, the Scythians, who had divided into a caste system based around those three gifts.
Herodotus also documented the culture’s great affection for cannabis sweat lodges. By his time, they had already built the (poorly-named) Silk Road. (In truth, it was cannabis that built their highway; silk came along later in the game.)
Another myth is the Scythians conquered cultures with brunt force, when in reality, despite their superior weapons and highly militarized society, their culture was so incredibly advanced it was readily absorbed into the many cultures they traded with. And because they traveled from Europe to China and India, the Scythians absorbed elements from both east and west. Scythian priests (many of whom were transsexual) had best magic because their primary sacrament was the greatest medicine on earth.
A few hundred years after Herodotus, Quintus Curtius Rufus documented those same three sacred gifts as essential to the Zoroastrians, although the weapon had morphed into a spear and arrow.
In later Nart versions, it became a golden sword.
However, throughout history, the golden cup retained its importance in Zoroastrian and Gnostic traditions, and this cup was a symbol of spirituality long before the arrival of the cross.
Interestingly, the grail appears on Templar tombstones as well, indicating the powerful secret society had an early association with the grail.
In fact, issues with the Templars may have originated with their defense of the Cathars, and there is speculation that two of the original nine Templar knights were Cathars.
It’s worth noting that the Cathar grail was called “Mani,” leading me be believe the Persian prophet Mani, who lived around the year 200, was the source of their dualistic beliefs. Mani attempted to unify all known religions and his followers built temples throughout the Silk Road, all of which were destroyed or absorbed by other religions.
Unfortunately, the version of the grail told today has been completely sanitized from any association with cannabis, when in fact, it’s the substance in the grail that carries the magic, and not the metal itself. I find it interesting Southern France became a center for mysticism, launching many occult societies, and the greatly persecuted Cathars were undoubtedly the inspiration behind much of that.
Meanwhile, the growth of Islam displaced the Zoroastrians, but the haoma cup was easily morphed into Islam’s Cup of Jamshid, said to contain the elixir of immortality. In early European mythology the grail contains the key to bringing peace to the kingdom. In reality, both claims are true: cannabis is the key to long-life, and it has a soothing effect that helps tamp down rage and violence.
After publishing his landmark study of the Constitution in 1913, Charles Beard of Yale University became the most eminent and influential historian in America, and it took decades of nit-picking to bring him down from that perch. He was soon universally ignored inside his profession, a role later reserved for Antony Sutton, who picked up on some of Beard’s style. For both, history was the study of economic interests, not dogmas.
Beard believed there were two American Revolutions, one to break from England, and one to cement an elite aristocracy into control. Far from being the wonderful document we celebrate today, the Constitution was the spearhead of a counter-revolution, conceived and instituted by the largest bond holders from each state, the banksters of their day.
George Washington was one of the richest men in North America at the time, as well as the largest single investor in the Revolution. Loyalist landowners faced seizure from the new government, just as landowners who’d supported the revolution had faced seizure if England won. I imagine many rich people tried to remain neutral, or played either side when convenient.
Washington was the most powerful Mason in North America, and a large number of Masons attended the Constitutional Convention, but that should not be surprising since Masonic principles support the equality of man. But it’s also true Masonry became infected at the highest levels by European royals, and flourished in both the British military and the world’s second multinational corporation, The East India Company (The Dutch East India Corporation was first, and it was their company England was imitating.)

I’ve always found it interesting that the original flag of the East India Company had 13 stripes alternating red and white, and if you possessed one of those flags, turning it into the stars and stripes would have been a relatively easy affair. Since the East India Company was the dominant cartel controlling the American economy, it would have made sense for them to embed prominent operatives into the revolution, in order to preserve the best environment post-revolution for continuing their immense profits. And many of their allies were located along the Eastern seaboard, involved with the China trade, which involved picking up opium in India and transporting it to China to trade for valuable goods.
Once you identify the principle polemicists salting the intel-sponsored propaganda, you’re halfway to enlightenment; and once you identify the major memes those polemicists are salting, you can easily ID a lot more spooks and avoid their rabbit holes to nowhere. Anyone supporting obviously fake memes is either a spook or hoodwinked true believer and there is no other option. Spooks and true believers can’t be trusted, so divide conspiracy research into two categories, trusted and not trusted, and learn from both categories. With practice and a keen eye for detail, you’ll soon be learning more from the disinfo than the authentic intel (mostly because there’s a lot more noise than signal). But you must avoid falling into the traps, what I call the rabbit holes, the biggest of which is racism in any form. The most powerful forces promoting ethnic cleansing are spook-driven, manufactured to assist the war-for-profit scenarios with their divide-and-conquer propaganda, something always easily identified.
The post-WWI generation was turned against Jews in many ways and on many levels, but mostly through Ernest Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald, both of whom demeaned the culture whenever possible. These were the two most influential novelists when novels were an influence. At the time, Jews were not integrated into high society, not allowed to join the country clubs or fraternities of the oligarchy. Instead, rich Jews had their own aristocracy centered on families holding stock in the Federal Reserve, the ones who also owned some of the biggest investment banks, the ones linked to names like Rothschild and Warburg. This division between these two powerful oligarchies along the Eastern seaboard was intentional and in place prior to the Civil War. They are still separate in some quarters.
I suspect Revilo P. Oliver worked for OSS during WWII. He was a brilliant intellectual and mastered a dozen languages, and was considered an expert in the origins of religion. He taught at the University of Illinois, where I grew up, evolving into a major player on the national stage.
Residing walking distance from campus on Ohio Street, Oliver could be seen slouching off to his office in the Classics Department wearing an enormous black fedora and ankle-length trench-coat, looking like a parody of an intelligence operative. His vicious letters to the editor of the News Gazette probably served mostly to recruit members to the local lodge of the John Birch Society, an organization Oliver had a hand in creating.
Soon, however, his buddy William Buckley, a Boner from Yale who ran the National Review, dropped Oliver as a contributor. And then the Birch Society began purging the most virulent racists off their rolls, of which Oliver was the ringleader. Oliver responded by publishing evidence the Birchers had been overrun by the same Jews manipulating the State Department, United Nations, and world-wide Communist conspiracy.
During Halloween, local children in his neighborhood collecting donations for UNICEF were warned in advance to steer a wide birth from his block, lest they cross his path and engender a political rant on the evils of globalism.
“When my sister was reading Nancy Drew she and Connie Marshall, whose dad became a federal judge, went all around the Oliver’s house tapping the walls for secret entrances,” recalls Mary Gates DeRosier. “Mrs. Oliver had a funeral for her dog and invited the neighbors. My mom went and told us that the dog was laid-out on the sofa surrounded by flowers. Mrs. Oliver was always giving us flyers about the dangers of Coca-Cola and of fluoride in the drinking water.”
Oliver moved on by helping to create the National Alliance, now known as the National Vanguard, the wellspring from which many generations of terrorists with strange links to intelligence operations have sprung. Funny, how nobody writes or talks about Oliver today, except his supporters, even though his role as a spook propagandist should be obvious with hindsight.
Soon after JFK’s assassination, Oliver published a dissenting opinion claiming JFK was a communist who’d been murdered by the communists because he’d decided to “go American.” He claimed Lee Harvey Oswald had been trained by the KGB, and the Warren Commission had been preordained to claim Oswald was a lone assassin. This was published after the commission was announced, long before the 888-page report appeared. Oliver’s theory was peppered with distortions and outright fabrications, as well as some amazing secret truths, evidence of inside sources. The government, especially the State Department, was heavily penetrated by a secret communist conspiracy run by Jews, claimed Oliver, and as evidence he cited the impossibility of a Marine formerly posted at our most secret base in Japan defecting to Russia, and then freely returning to America, and yet not monitored by the FBI. This could only happen if the State Department was infested with cooperating communist conspirators claimed Oliver, ignoring the more obvious explanation Oswald was an American spook who was returning from a failed penetration operation in Russia.
“The identification of the murderer was a near-miracle. If not the result of divine intervention, it was the result of a series of coincidences of the same order as might enable a bum with a dollar in his pocket to enter a casino in Reno and emerge with a thousand,”noted Oliver, in another one of his many spot-on assessments. This miraculous identification and capture of Oswald began with the murder of Officer J.D. Tippit. Oswald’s wallet was discovered at the scene, along with four spent cartridges from his revolver. Strange Oliver could recognize the anomaly of Oswald’s strangely trouble-free re-entry into the USA after supposedly defecting to the enemy, but missed this highly improbable wallet, especially considering Oswald was captured an hour later with a wallet in his pocket (and a revolver that didn’t work). Which means the wallet at the scene must have been planted. There’s also the witnesses to the Tippet slaying who claim Oswald was not the man they saw fleeing the crime. The only other option is believing the official story Oswald murdered Tippet, then calmly emptied his revolver, tossed his wallet on the ground and then fled the scene, found a new wallet with ID, found a new revolver (that didn’t function) and discarded his working revolver, which is the version Oliver opted for in this instance.
“Americans known to be opponents of the Conspiracy, including General Walker, prominent members of the John Birch Society, and leaders of other conservative organizations, began to receive threats of death by telephone from creatures who somehow knew that Kennedy was dead before he reached the hospital,” wrote Oliver. I believe this detail is also spot-on in that Texas John Birch supporters put up the $150,000 to pay the shooters and were among the first notified of the mission’s success, but salting that observation with the lie these calls included death threats to the paymasters is an obvious misdirection that recalls Edwin Stanton’s efforts to claim he was a target of the Lincoln assassination conspiracy, and not one of the instigators himself.
Oliver was especially harsh on the then director of the Council on Foreign Relations, the recently-fired former CIA head, Allen W. Dulles. “Dulles was the head of an American spy ring in Switzerland during the Second World War and is said to have done a fairly good job,” began Oliver, “although it was believed at the time that his organization was infested with double agents who were really in the employ of the Soviet — and even more serious implications can be drawn from the testimony given in Karlsruhe last July by Heinz Felfe, a Soviet agent who had been Mr. Dulles’ German counterpart and supposed competitor in Switzerland.” Yes, Dulles was head of OSS in Europe and was posted in Switzerland, and recruited the bulk of the Nazi spy network into the CIA in a secret surrender with Malta Knight Reinhardt Gehlen, who was later rewarded by becoming head of the West German secret services, but Felfe was a minor figure when posted in Switzerland compared with Dulles, and just one of many spooks accepting pay from all comers.
“One writer has recently suggested that it was the C.I.A. that arranged the assassination of Kennedy; I know of no evidence to support that opinion, but obviously Mr. Dulles’ creation is open to suspicion. Perhaps that is why he is a member of the “special commission,” wrote Oliver in a brief and startling moment of spot-on clarity that was instantly jettisoned.
Oliver claimed the commission would paint “Comrade Oswald as a poor, lone critter who done it all alone. Probably ‘psychiatrists’ will be produced to prove he done it ’cause, at the age of six months, he had to wait an extra five minutes for his bottle.” Strange that Oswald was likely worked on by CIA psychiatrists while a teen in New York, prior to his being hypnotized by David Ferry while a member of Ferry’s Civil Air Patrol in New Orleans. The fact he knew the outcome before the investigation began was yet another spot-on.
Oliver was called before the Warren Commission to testify, and I imagine that was a scripted encounter. Mark Lane was another one of the few independent investigators allowed to present evidence directly to the Commission. It took me decades to realize Lane’s testimony was likely scripted as well, for he was also a former OSS officer, and was likely guided into a role as the premier debunker of the official story. He soon tainted himself by embracing Willis Carto’s holocaust denial movement. Isn’t it strange that both Oliver and Lane were on polar opposites of the political divide, one far left the other far right, and yet both believed in a Jewish conspiracy running the world?
If you want to find a contemporary salter of disinfo, check out Jan Irvin, who treads in Oliver’s footsteps with lies and distortions. Irvin produces propaganda supporting the theory the hippies were created by the CIA, and that Tim Leary, Ken Kesey and me are employees of that agency, and not its critics. Since I’m on the inside of this particular conspiracy theory, it’s impossible for me to ignore Irvin is making shit up. So I put him in the “not trusted” category. And wouldn’t you know, he also believes Jews are running the system through some secret satanic cult based on the teachings of Aleister Crowley, which just confirms my suspicions intel is exploiting Crowley for propaganda. But they do the same thing with their phony UFO evidence they are constantly manufacturing.
My advice: avoid any variation on any rabbit holes resembling: the Communists are running the world; the Jews are running the world; the Satanists are running the world, the aliens are running the world, or the CIA created the hippies.
The Warren Commission had problems right out-of-the-gate, and the biggest became known as the single bullet theory. Even though the wounds were tampered with and notes of the autopsy immediately burned, the official report had considerable difficulty explaining how one pristine bullet found on the stretcher at Parkland Hospital caused seven wounds in two men. The solution was invented by a young Philadelphia DA, who would soon rise to great heights in American politics. His name was Arlen Specter.
In 1964, Vince Salandria was a history teacher at Bartram High School with a law degree who did legal work on the side when Specter was invited by the local bar association to give a talk concerning his work for the Commission. Specter spoke in front of an audience of 150, and then asked if anyone had a question. Salandria stood up. “Your single bullet theory is a fraud, a magic bullet theory,” he began. “How could anyone support such a blatant absurdity?”
“Have you read the report?” smirked Specter.
“Yes, I have,” replied Salandria, “all eight hundred and eighty-eight pages.”
Specter was visibly taken aback. He’d not been expecting opposition on this dog-and-pony show, much less from someone so well-armed with facts. After JFK was assassinated Salandria told himself if Lee Harvey Oswald was killed before any trial took place, it would mean the CIA was behind the coup. When that happened, he drove to Dallas to investigate and interview witnesses. He met with Oswald’s mother, who told him her son was in the CIA, and she was very proud of that fact. In the Warren Commission Report, Specter had successfully painted Oswald’s mom as a lunatic. He tried sparring with Salandria but after losing every parry, Specter asked for a new question and moved on, his credibility somewhat shaken. It was a scary moment when the entire facade threatened to come down, and Specter would never forget it.
Salandria went home in an inspirational fever created by the audience’s reaction to his comments and composed the first critique of Specter’s theory, and soon had it published it in Philadelphia’s Legal Intelligencer, becoming an instant star inside a growing band of citizen researchers disputing the official story of JFK’s murder. These debunkers were virtually shunned because so few believed the CIA would kill its own President.
A few years ago a professor in Florida did his own digging around, and uncovered this document through the FOIA that revealed the CIA invented the term “conspiracy theorist” as a derogatory term to be deployed while dismissing critics of the Warren Commission Report. The document outlined a variety of strategies for debunking the debunkers.
In order to cement the fallacy of the conspiracy theorists they needed to invent some really nutty conspiracy theories, so what happened next is a string of whistle-blowers introduced mind-blowing new evidence in JFK’s assassination, and then began pursuing completely different conspiracy theories, often involving aliens, theories that could easily be swatted away, thus tainting and negating any JFK revelations.
Two of the original memes they introduced were “dead people are alive” and “living people are dead.” I don’t know which came first, Elvis or Paul, but both were extensively mined for this counterintelligence propaganda operation.
Here’s the photo that launched the Elvis meme and this story was also accompanied with the release of documents from Elvis’ DEA and FBI files. Not only had Elvis traveled to Washington DC seeking credentials as a Special Agent in the war on drugs, one of his airplanes had been investigated during a drug investigation. Elvis had zero to do with illegal drug-running, but he was a heavy user of legally prescribed narcotics.
Both the “Elvis is alive” and “Paul is dead” memes were promoted extensively by the Weekly World News, which I strongly suspect was deployed as a counterintelligence propaganda tool for dumbing down America, a role the entire media complex seems to be embracing these days.
More recently people inside the Air Force have confessed to planting fake evidence of alien visitations in the UFO community. And wouldn’t you know a lot of early JFK researchers ended up promoting the “aliens are here” meme. Most of this disinfo came in the form of forged “top secret” documents that never existed in the real world, and since intel deals with these sorts of memos every day, they know how to forge them and make them look really good.
The growth and spread of phony intel propaganda memes over the decades dwarfs the efforts of real citizen researchers, the noise to signal ratio is immense, and the landscape now includes “we never landed on the moon,” chemtrails, “no one got killed at Sandy Hook,” “no planes were used in 9/11,” and many, many more. As Goebbels noted, “tell a big lie, and stick to it.” Only I believe he was talking about the British MI6 propaganda and not his own.
Strangely, at the end of his long career, Specter invited Salandria to lunch at the Oyster Bar in Philadelphia. Salandria was surprised by this invitation and ended up doing most of the talking. He’d ended up losing his teaching job for promoting conspiracy theory among his students. Perhaps Specter was pumping him for the state-of-the-art in JFK research, or maybe he was trying to improve his karma. Specter’s last words were along the lines of perhaps he hadn’t been fraudulent after all, but merely incompetent. “You’re not that incompetent,” replied Salandria.
It all got rolling in 1947 when an Army public information officer captured a “flying saucer” on a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico, a story covered prominently in the local newspaper. A few days later, however, the Air Force stepped in and changed the story to a downed weather balloon. Today, we’re told it was a Project Mogul balloon, a top-secret program that placed microphones at high altitudes to check for indications of Soviet nuclear tests. Free-floating spy balloons were being deployed covertly for intelligence gathering at the time, the predecessors of the U2 spy plane. There were many unexplained crashes in the Southwest over the next few decades.
Today we know Area 51 was the base where drones, spy planes and stealth bombers were initially developed. Obviously, whenever covert technology crashed, great secrecy was deployed to contain information from leaking to the Soviets. This may be why so many phony stories about UFOs began appearing in file cabinets of intelligence officers across the country and why some of those officers were instructed to intentionally misdirect the growing UFO community and monitor the success rate of the fake memes they were planting into it.
Unexplained globular lights in the sky are a longstanding phenomenon and their source remains unclear. WWII pilots referred to these lights as “foo fighters.” But it’s a long way from unexplained globes of light darting around the night sky, to little green men with bugged-out eyes jumping out of interstellar craft. If you look at the public record, you’ll find the stories of the little green men were initially planted and encouraged by intelligence officers.
The first big splash was created by Life magazine five years after Roswell when the following sentence appeared on the cover: There is a case for interplanetary saucers.
It’s important to realize both Life and Time were created by Henry Luce, a member of Yale’s powerful Order of Skull & Bones, which has deep connections to the CIA and military intelligence. These two magazines became a dominating force in the media almost overnight, and were frequently tools for counterintelligence propaganda operations. My guide for distinguishing real whistle-blowers from fakes is whether or not they appeared on the cover of Time magazine, because if they do, rest assured they’re an op and not some organic force for positive change. The initial Life magazine article quoted Air Force official Edward J. Ruppelt as the inside source on the UFO cover-up, although later in life, Ruppelt would repudiate these comments.
“British scientists are convinced these strange aerial objects are not optical illusions or Soviet inventions, but are flying saucers which originate on another planet,” wrote Dorothy Kilgallen, in a mind-blowing front-page story two years later, an article published in hundreds of newspapers. “The source of my information is a British official of Cabinet rank who prefers to remain unidentified. ‘We believe, on the basis of our inquiry thus far, that the saucers were staffed by small men—probably under four feet tall. It’s frightening, but there is no denying the flying saucers come from another planet.’”
While various insiders in the British and American military were planting these stories of contact with aliens, another wing of the military was studying the science of constructing Manchurian Candidates with drugs, hypnosis, psychic driving and complex play-acting. This was real voodoo possession at work and hundreds of people were dosed with LSD without their knowledge. Some were turned into hypnotic mind slaves, some were guided into field operations as sex toys, while others served as experiments to be monitored and worked on as the years went by. A decade after Life magazine broke the aliens-are-here story, the first alien abduction took place.
Barney and Betty Hill were one of the few interracial couples in the early sixties, and also members of the NAACP and the Unitarian Church, two organizations heavily penetrated by spooks. The civil rights movement was of great concern to intel, as was the student youth movement, and the Unitarian Church provided a base of operations for anti-war movements in college towns across America. I know because in my hometown of Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, the Red Herring coffeeshop, located in the basement of the Unitarian Church, became the local counterculture center of gravity, the site where most of our anti-war demonstrations were conceived and planned.
On September 19, 1961, the Hills were traveling home from a trip to Canada when they spotted a mysterious light in the sky. Soon, a strange craft landed in the road in front of them. Barney got out of his car to investigate, and saw a group of aliens observing him through the window in the craft. Barney became convinced they intended to capture him and his wife, so he quickly drove home in a panic. Two days later, Betty called Pease Air Force Base to report the encounter, and the following day Major Paul Henderson investigated. He wrote a brief report for Project Bluebook stating the Hills had seen the planet Jupiter, claiming it had been unusually bright that night.
Betty also wrote to retired Marine Corps Major Donald Keyhoe, head of NICAP, a civilian research group, and Keyhoe sent a parade of civilian investigators to collect more information. The NICAP came up with the hypothesis the Hills had been abducted and medically examined, as evidence by a three-hour time gap in their memory. On November 23, 1962, the Hills were introduced privately to Air Force Captain Ben Swett at their church, and Swett suggested they seek hypnosis therapy to recover the lost three hours.
In March 1963, the Hills made their first public admission to members of their own church, and in January 1964, they were hypnotized and tape recorded, while drawings were produced during the session to be presented as evidence.
The therapist concluded the couple shared a fantasy inspired by TV and films, one that had resonated in Betty’s dreams. He published an article in Psychiatric Opinion. Two weeks before the episode, the Outer Limits broadcast a show on aliens that resembled the story told by the Hills. The hypnosis session had a settling effect on the Hills, however, and they returned to their normal lives, although they never accepted the therapist’s opinion, and remained convinced the NICAP investigators were correct in assuming they’d been abducted. In October 1965, after being fed the story by the NICAP, a Boston newspaper put the Hills on their front page. This led to the publication of a book, The Interrupted Journey, which sold several editions, thus proving UFOs were highly marketable and worth big bucks.
An artist was brought in to sketch the aliens as described by Barney, although his image neglected the distinctive cap Barney had drawn previously on his own. Interestingly, Barney drew the alien hat brims turned to the side, ghetto-style.
A series of dots drawn by Betty was supposedly a star map used to guide the aliens, and very soon some highly inventive and creative theories emerged on what those dots might signify, each one more absurd than the next. Clearly, this story was getting embellished as time went on. I find it important to note the CIA’s MK/Ultra project also involved hypnosis (although often without people’s consent or knowledge), so I have to wonder if alien abductions weren’t deployed as a cover story for illegal mind control experiments in case the hypnosis wore off.
MK/Ultra was proposed by Richard Helms, then the CIA’s Assistant Deputy Director for Plans, to fund “highly sensitive” research using chemical/ biological substances to alter human behavior. It was approved by CIA Director Allen Dulles on April 13, 1953 and overseen by chemist Sidney Gottlieb, chief of the CIA’s Technical Services Division. Forty-four American colleges, 15 research foundations and pharmaceutical companies (including Sandoz and Eli Lilly), 12 hospitals, and three prisons are known to have participated. During Watergate, Helms attempted to destroy every document and file relating to the program, although he missed a few, which is why we have some inkling on the immense scope of the project.
Mark Pilkington is a remarkable dude with an impressive resume, a musician, curator and publisher-writer-editor specializing in the occult. He traveled to America to research UFOs. He also admits to being a crop circle hoaxer in his native England, creating vegetable sculptures to dupe people into believing in alien interventions. I’ve always wondered if the crop circle phenomenon was created by intel to feed the fires on UFO mania. Intel seems intent on embedding the most ridiculous conspiracy theories into the public consciousness as a way to deflect from the real conspiracies. The most interesting part of Pilkington’s trip, however, was he got an intelligence officer to admit to planting fake UFO documents and monitoring how those documents moved though the UFO community.
U.S. Air Force Special Agent Richard C. Doty, retired, confessed to being one of many leakers of UFO disinfo, and also admitted one of his primary targets, Paul Bennewiz, was driven insane by his faked UFO reports. Another primary target was William Moore, who wrote the first book on Roswell and was considered an influential voice in the community. Most of the documents you see circulating today on the web supporting the story aliens-are-here were fabricated by Doty and his crew of disinformationalists. It’s somewhat astounding this story leaked out through a book and film, and now the History Channel has an hour-long episode devoted to it, leading me to conclude this must be some sort of limited hang-out that skims the surface of what these disinformationalists are up to.
But I also believe these revelations might help lead a few others to reject the aliens-are-here meme and other rabbit holes promoted by intel agents, and understand these memes are created for a purpose. Perhaps there’s a long-term strategy involving a fake alien invasion, but most likely, these projects exist primarily to brand researchers of JFK and 9/11 as conspiracy kooks.
A few years ago, a FOIA request by Professor Lance deHaven-Smith of Florida State University turned up a document proving the term “conspiracy theory” was invented by the CIA immediately after Warren Commission Report was released as a tool for combating citizen researchers across the country who’d been investigating the crime and could see through the fraudulent report. The strategy of inventing phony conspiracy theories was part of a strategy for painting critics of the Commission as crackpots. It’s been two years since deHaven-Smith published his findings in Conspiracy Theory in America (Discovering America) and still most Americans have no clue that by spreading stories about aliens, crop circles, chemtrails, we never landed on the moon, they are dancing to a tune played by the CIA. As the 15th anniversary of 9/11 draws near, I only hope more people will wake up and demand a Congressional investigation. Because the people have the power to make this right and end the longstanding war-for-profit hoodwink.
After WWII, the Soviets began throwing world youth festivals and inviting attendance from student delegations from around the globe. These festivals drew interest from the newly formed CIA, created in 1947, the same year the National Student Association (NSA) was founded in Madison, Wisconsin, for the purpose of attending the Communist youth festivals.
Interestingly, both the CIA and the NSA have strong Catholic connections. William Donovan was an Irishman who ran intelligence operations during WWII and helped craft the CIA charter. Ever since, the agency has had a stack of Malta Knights in leadership positions, and you’ll find the same situation over at the Pentagon. Because of their diplomatic immunity and immense global connections, Knights of Malta are powerful people. As WWII was winding down, German Malta Knights and American Malta Knights worked together on hiding hundreds of war criminals in churches and monasteries until they could be spirited away to new identities in new locations. Many of these war criminals ended up working for the CIA on covert operations. Catholics were especially trusted by the Cold War warriors because they represented a major antagonistic force resisting the spread of Communism, and thus were useful in dialectical operations. Of course, the other major component of the CIA were Freemasons and members of masonic-style secret societies like Yale’s Order of Skull & Bones. Most revolutions (especially the Communist ones) were organized through these masonic lodges. These two powerful groups represented opposing sides of the managed dialectic that was driving the growth of the military industrial complex.
The NSA helped found the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee, which organized the march on Selma and subsequent Voting Rights Act that followed. They also played a role in the formation of the SDS. In 1964, Michael Wood dropped out of college to work on civil rights in the Watts district of Los Angeles. He soon came to the attention of the NSA and was offered a job at their Washington DC headquarters. By this time, the NSA had a million members in over 400 colleges and universities and had grown into an immense operation. Woods was brought in as a fundraiser, but soon noticed there seemed to be little interest in fundraising, and, in fact, the top executives did their own fundraising through their own channels. Woods went to Philip Sherburne, president of the NSA, and announced he needed to have control over all NSA fundraising, or he’d have to resign. Sherberne invited Wood to lunch at Sirloin and Saddle, and that’s when Sherberne violated his secrecy agreement and explained most of the NSA funding was coming from the CIA. Apparently, the pair decided at that lunch this needed to end, for shortly afterwards, CIA funds began to dry up. Wood was blamed for the budget shortfall and soon fired. And after the firing, he told Marc Stone, the son of I. F. Stone, who happened to be the publicist for Ramparts magazine. The magazine staff was incredulous, but began investigating, and that’s when the CIA use of a complex web of foundations for covert funding began to unravel.
The CIA got wind of the investigation and tried to quickly organize a press conference with past NSA presidents, all of whom were willing to testify to the secret relationship while explaining the CIA never influenced NSA policy only provided millions of dollars with zero strings attached. When Ramparts found out about this planned preemptive strike, they placed ads in major newspapers to promote their impending scoop.
In truth, the CIA links inside NSA were first uncovered in 1964 by NSA president Steve Robbins, who was aghast to discover he was participating in a covert intelligence operation. When Robbins confronted his staff with the bad news, nine of them waltzed outside while fishing around their pockets for a dime in order to check in with their agency handlers on nearby payphones. Most of them were specialists in international affairs with offices on the top floor and all had been secretly trained by Langley for their jobs. Apparently, they all went on to bigger and better jobs in the agency. But in 1964, word of this never leaked, and the world may have never known had Wood not been fired a few years later and had lunch with Stone. After the story broke, Wood and some senior NSA officials fled to Greensboro, North Carolina. The NSA was briefly shattered internally as many departed, but that just left the remaining spooks firmly in control.
In 2015, Karen Paget published the expose of this story titled Patriotic Betrayal. She researched for years and assembled a treasure trove of classified documents through the Freedom of Information Act. Paget begins her book by explaining that in 1965 she’d been invited to dinner by two past leaders of the NSA, and later on, at a private residence, she’d been handed a classified file that explained the NSA was run by the CIA and her husband had recently been recruited into the agency. Although most NSA employees were unaware of this relationship, the ones that did were classified as being “witty.” Paget was introduced to her husband’s case officer, code name Aunt Alice, and asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement stating should she ever reveal these secrets to anyone, she’d be liable for a minimum of 20 years in prison.

Although Patriotic Betrayal is the best guide to this saga, I have to wonder if it might not be a limited hangout because nothing devastating is revealed beyond the money trail. And the fact the book was published by Yale University Press should raise suspicions that some elements might be missing. Paget violated her secrecy agreement, yet no repercussions followed in the wake of the book’s release. Operations are more complex than most comprehend, and when you have several billion in black funds to play with, the sky is the limit as far as penetrations go. I’m not saying Paget is a spook, although her husband certainly was, at least for a time, only that the documents released to her would have been carefully vetted. It would be naive to believe the vast CIA spook network has diminished over the years. If you wonder why zero national spokespeople on the left or right support independent investigations of 9/11, consider the left and right are parts of the same bird, and both packed with spooks. Very few of these operations will be revealed in our lifetimes. But if you dig around and keep an open mind, you might find evidence of their dialectical games as they unfold before your eyes in real time, because in politics little happens by accident. As JFK was fond to say, “In politics, things are made to happen.”
The USA was undergoing a zeitgeist shift in the 1960s. Large numbers of teenagers were slipping off the mind control leash and questioning their parent’s knee-jerk support for the Pentagon’s Cold War. The operations put into play to derail and deflect this emerging zeitgeist were immense. Fifty years later, I’m still trying to untangle the complex threads. All it takes is identifying who was pushing violence as their primary solution in the 1960s, and then seeing if that person achieved mysterious mainstream success later on in life.
As a general rule, left-wing terrorists are not given professorships with tenure and pensions by major universities, a trajectory reserved exclusively for spooks. And keep in mind, not all spooks know who they work for, and even the few who do are provided information on a need-to-know basis. When people say 9/11 can’t be an inside job because someone would have talked, keep in mind the CIA was manipulating the student youth movement for decades before anyone spilled any beans. And derailing the student youth movement was a bigger operation involving more conspirators than 9/11.
Bonesman Henry Stimson
William Kunstler, he must have been one of the “good guys,” right? After all, he was director of the American Civil Liberties Union and leader of the National Lawyer’s Guild. Unfortunately, both associations are infested with spooks. The ACLU was founded by Roger Baldwin, Crystal Eastman and Felix Frankfurter.
Felix became personal assistant to New York district attorney Henry Stimson in 1906, who became famous for his trust-busting investigations. Stimson was a Yale Bonesman who eventually served as Secretary of War for both Republicans and Democrats. Most important, he created the Black Eagle Fund to distribute trillions in stolen WWII loot into covert accounts, funds used to foment false flags, manipulate elections and arrange coups favorable to Wall Street around the world. Some of the money was used for operations on the right, some funded operations on the left. Left and right are wings of the same bird, manipulated for a predetermined dialectical outcome.
Felix eventually became a Supreme Court Justice. Clearly, these two men were on the establishment’s inside track. Crystal was sister to Max Eastman, who ran the primary Communist propaganda organ, The Masses, which assisted spook John Reed’s takeover of the socialist movement in America. Later in life, Eastman became a supporter of Senator Joseph McCarthy’s Communist witch-hunt, certainly a dramatic flip-flop. Roger Baldwin began as a devoted Communist as well, once claiming “Communism, of course, is the goal,” although ten years later, he led the purge of Commies out of the ACLU, when his execs were secretly meeting with the FBI and leaking names of members suspected to be red.
Sherman exposed CIA funding of the radical left.
Sherman Skolnick was a Chicago investigator who learned how to locate copies of IRS 990-AR tax forms in public libraries, a document filled out by foundations and available to the public if you knew where to look. Sherman discovered the CIA was routinely using a variety of foundations for financing the radical left. Very soon, he was accusing Rennie Davis, Tom Hayden, Lee Weiner and Jerry Rubin, leaders of the student youth movement, of accepting funds from CIA sources, specifically the Carnegie Foundation, the Student Health Organization, the Institute for Policy Studies, J.M. Kaplan Fund, Aaron E. Norman Fund, New World Foundation, and the Roger Baldwin Foundation. Skolnick claimed the Chicago 7 trial was a staged event and that the Nation magazine, Pacifica Radio, National Public Radio, and Democracy Now were all at least partially CIA-financed. Very few took Sherman seriously at the time and he was branded a conspiracy kook, even though he did manage to take down a string of corrupt judges in Illinois connected to organized crime.
But if you examine the pro bono lawyers representing the Chicago 7, the trajectories into national fame become somewhat suspicious. Aaron Sorkin’s Chicago recreation on Neflix has problems, especially when it comes to the Black Panthers. In the film Bobby Seale is shown taking direction from Fred Hampton. Seale is large and well-built, while Hampton shorter and less athletic. This is the reverse of the truth: Seale was a short, skinny dude compared to Hampton. Seale is bound and gagged only for a few minutes because he erupts following a police assassination of Hampton. In fact, Hampton was not assassinated by police until December, while Seale was gagged in October for multiple days in court before his case was severed from the other seven. The correct chronology is crucial to understanding events.
The film makes it seem Hampton was killed for giving legal advice to Seale, when, in fact, he was killed much later because he was about to become chief-of-staff for the central committee. Hampton was leading the Panthers into non-violence. Only William Kunstler is shown as the group’s lawyer, when, in fact a team of litigators was involved, including Michael Kennedy and his mentor Michael Tigar, both ardent Communists, (or so they claim). This trial was carefully stage-managed and there were multiple intel “influencers” placed in crucial positions. The left and right have always been under supervision, and influencers like Tom Hayden, Jerry Rubin, Jane Fonda, Bill Ayers, and Gloria Steinem behave suspiciously like operatives. In the case of Steinem, the CIA connection has been proven. All social movements of any size are penetrated by alphabet agencies. But no where are intel influences more crucial than among the pro bono lawyers themselves, which is why I suspect Kunstler and Kennedy were operatives, which would explain why they always supported terror while actively encouraging an intel takeover of the SDS.

They missed Kunstler’s combover and hulking gait and made him look way too reasonable. Why was this case dragged on for months on the front pages? The judge was doing a Roland Freisler imitation and it was clear any ruling could be overturned upon appeal, which is exactly what happened. In the sixties the KGB put a huge effort into recruiting leftwing lawyers as secret operatives. You’d be foolish to think the CIA wouldn’t counter that operation by embedding double agents into that sphere, something easily accomplished. The Panthers were infested with agents from a variety of alphabet agencies. Hampton did not rise to the level of “needs execution” until he became nationally known, and his murder was instantly deployed by the Weather Underground to turn the counterculture toward violence, the very thing Hampton was trying to avoid, calling such action “Custeristic.” The trial of the Chicago 7 is a window on the real world once you figure out who the agents are (hint: they push violence as the solution.)
While the FBI was turning black activists against each other, the CIA was providing automatic weapons and C4 to violent blacks and creating groups like the Symbionese Liberation Army to spark race war, same mission their MK/Ultra Charlie Manson was promoting. Hampton was a serious obstacle because he was one of the few counterculture leaders intelligent enough to denounce the tactics of the Weather Underground. They were able to use his murder as the excuse why people needed to “bring the war home.” Dohrn was leading the press on tours of Hampton’s blood-stained apartment a few hours after his murder. It catapulted her into national fame. By taking out the leadership of the counterculture and student revolutions, putting them in jail for months after an excessively long and protracted trial that served to polarize the nation, a leadership vacuum was created. And when Fred Hampton stepped in to fill it, they used his murder to anoint a new leadership in blood.
Today, Rennie Davis is a venture capitalist who runs the Foundation for a New Humanity; Tom Hayden is a former California State Senator who works for Harvard’s Institute of Policy Studies; while Lee Weiner went from the Mossad-infested Anti-Defamation League to becoming Vice President of AmeriCares. “Do-good” organizations make the best covers and fulfilled that role long before John Reed was employed by the Red Cross in Russia.
But this story runs wider and deeper than just the Chicago 7.
In 1969, Fred Hampton was fully illuminated and enlightened, a man with a brain on fire, but tragically he would soon die. In fact, his death was the fulcrum around which the CIA launched an epic attack on the peace movement with coordinated operations from within and without. Examination of the crime yields an understanding of deep politics. At one time, Hampton, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King Jr. were all viewed as potential black messiahs. All were assassinated by the state just for achieving that status, and spooks like Jesse Jackson inserted in their place. In hindsight we can see Hampton’s premeditated murder was mined by counterintelligence.
Hampton had just ended the bitter internal street-gang warfare in Chicago by uniting the various gangs into his “rainbow coalition,” a term he coined. He was a tremendous athlete who could have gone professional in several sports, although he yearned to play center field for the Yankees. He built sports groups instead of gangs, and encouraged multi-cultural activities and ceremonies. He was a tremendous inspiration, especially for James “Chef Ra” Wilson, who deployed Hampton’s tactics to combat racism at Urbana High School, uniting jocks, longhairs, blacks and greasers.
Hampton was not murdered because he was giving legal advice to Bobby Seale, he was murdered because he was the first pacifist elected to a national leadership role the Black Panthers and was leading the organization down a different path.
Six years earlier, on October 31, 1963, an anonymous tip from “Lee” a confidential FBI informant, revealed some men in Chicago were planning to kill JFK, who was due to visit the following day. At the same time, a landlady called police to report four rifles with telescopic sights had been discovered in a room she’d just rented (a room overlooking the route JFK was soon due to follow). The Secret Service was notified and JFK’s trip to Chicago was cancelled. Strangely, Arthur Thomas Vallee was one of the men at the apartment, and he had been previously posted to the CIA’s secret base in Atsuki, Japan, along with Lee Harvey Oswald. The base launched the U-2 spy planes. Both Vallee and Oswald had since been involved with anti-Castro Cubans in New Orleans, and both were moved into offices overlooking imminent presidential parade routes. A Secret Service agent in Chicago blew the whistle on the cover-up of these facts, but he was swiftly silenced and threatened with jail. His name was Abraham Bolden. But the important name to remember is the policeman assigned to spy on Valle: Daniel Groth.
Six years later, Groth arrived at the house where Hampton and several other Black Panthers were asleep. They arrived by firing into the front and back doors simultaneously and then crashed into the apartment. Over 90 shots were fired, from revolvers, machine guns and rifles, and all but one round came from a police weapon, and it hit the ceiling after the Panther holding the gun was fatally wounded. So the police took no incoming fire during the raid. Hampton was sleeping with his pregnant fiance Deborah Johnson (due in 2 weeks) when they were awakened by gunshots coming through the walls. He had been previously drugged by an FBI informant inside the group, who disappeared before the raid began. Consequently, he could not respond to the crisis. The bedroom door flung open and bullets began zipping into room, striking the mattress and walls. Deborah rolled on top of Hampton to shield him, but she was quickly pulled off by two officers, one of whom dragged her to the kitchen. She heard two shots fired from inside the bedroom, and an officer asked, “Is he dead? To which Groth laughed, “he’s good and dead.” Groth had executed the black messiah with two bullets to his head.
Terror is the primary tool of counterintelligence ops, and the murder of Fred Hampton terrorized the counterculture peace movement. Although Hampton was a devoted pacifist, his death would be instantly exploited to turn the peace movement violent. And the steps down that garden path were led by two fringe members of the Students for a Democratic Society who orchestrated a takeover.

Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorhn pulled off their takeover of the SDS and it was not unlike the takeover John Reed supervised over the socialist movement many decades earlier. Funny how some people with the same last name were involved with both ops. And wasn’t it convenient Ayers and Dorhn were located in Chicago, and could arrive at Fred Hampton’s murder site and lead the press on tours of the kill zone the following day. Dorhn had graduated from the University of Chicago and become the first law student organizer for the spook-infested National Lawyers Guild.
“We felt that the murder of Fred required us to be more grave, more serious, more determined to raise the stakes and not just be the white people who wrung their hands when black people were being murdered,” Dorhn would later remark. But she didn’t talk like that until years later. In the sixties, she mostly spouted rhetoric like “kill the pigs!” In fact, she celebrated Charlie Manson as a counterculture hero, and declared 1970 the year of the fork and created a three-fingered “fork salute” after the stabbings of the pregnant Sharon Tate by Susan Atkins. “They even shoved a fork into pig Tate’s stomach! Wild!” said Dorhn, comments her husband now contests.
You can’t imagine a more dishonorable act than celebrating the memory of peacemaker Fred Hampton by deploying his death to foment violence, but that’s exactly what the Weather Underground did. They soon declared war on the United States and announced a plan to exterminate all those who supported the government, a sort of insane mass ethnic cleansing of hippies perpetrated against straight people that never had any prayer of success, yet the rhetoric continued for years while the Weather Underground orchestrated terror attacks. Never once have the two leaders expressed regret for lives lost or the ramifications of their evil rhetoric.
Now fast forward and realize despite well-publicized meetings with enemy agents from foreign lands, despite fomenting hundreds of bombings and encouraging blacks and other activists to go violent, despite providing explosives, guns and training to criminally insane characters, and despite being the most wanted domestic terrorists of their time, Dohrn and Ayers walked straight from a life in the underground to university jobs and pensions.
Dohrn and Ayers always had a reputation for the high life. Most of their time in hiding was apparently spent at a luxurious California beach house, sleeping between clean sheets, drinking expensive wines, living a life of relative luxury in comparison to the Weather Underground rank and file they were leading down the CIA dialectical rabbit hole.
“I don’t regret setting bombs,” says Bill Ayers today (even though one killed an innocent San Francisco policeman). “I feel we didn’t do enough.”
Didn’t do enough? The Weathermen disgraced the memory of Fred Hampton, murdering innocent people in his name, and were responsible for co-opting his visionary, peaceful, rainbow coalition.
Meanwhile, Timothy Leary was soon railroaded into jail on trumped up charges, and the Weather Underground were brought in to bust him out. During that episode many press releases went out indicating Leary was now armed and dangerous and supporting the Weather Underground tactics. They wanted him to join forces with Eldridge Cleaver in Algeria to foment an armed insurrection led by black militants. But Cleaver didn’t trust Leary, and after decamping to Switzerland, and then Afghanistan, a letter written by Leary’s wife outlining their future itinerary was discovered by an Orange County police officer who’d made tracking Leary his personal vendetta. Soon Leary was in solitary confinement, being worked over, and eventually agreed to spill the beans on everything he knew about the Weather Underground.
Strangely, spilling the beans never amounted to an arrest of anyone, although it did spurn William Kunstler to make a public plea for Leary’s assassination after Leary fingered Michael Kennedy as the secret leader of the Weather Underground. Kennedy had to go into hiding until he smoke cleared, although he would soon go on to steal High Times magazine from the employees. There are other characters involved with the magazine who also deserve close examination, most notably Ron Rosenbaum, Chip Berlet and AJ Weberman.
Strange the Holy Grail remains our central myth, yet few pay attention to its origins. Probably because those origins are steeped in cannabis.
After publishing his landmark study of the Constitution in 1913, Charles Beard of Yale University became the most eminent and influential historian in America, and it took decades of nit-picking to bring him down from that perch. He was soon universally ignored inside his profession, a role later reserved for Antony Sutton, who picked up on some of Beard’s style. For both, history was the study of economic interests, not dogmas.
“The identification of the murderer was a near-miracle. If not the result of divine intervention, it was the result of a series of coincidences of the same order as might enable a bum with a dollar in his pocket to enter a casino in Reno and emerge with a thousand,”noted Oliver, in another one of his many spot-on assessments. This miraculous identification and capture of Oswald began with the murder of Officer J.D. Tippit. Oswald’s wallet was discovered at the scene, along with four spent cartridges from his revolver. Strange Oliver could recognize the anomaly of Oswald’s strangely trouble-free re-entry into the USA after supposedly defecting to the enemy, but missed this highly improbable wallet, especially considering Oswald was captured an hour later with a wallet in his pocket (and a revolver that didn’t work). Which means the wallet at the scene must have been planted. There’s also the witnesses to the Tippet slaying who claim Oswald was not the man they saw fleeing the crime. The only other option is believing the official story Oswald murdered Tippet, then calmly emptied his revolver, tossed his wallet on the ground and then fled the scene, found a new wallet with ID, found a new revolver (that didn’t function) and discarded his working revolver, which is the version Oliver opted for in this instance.
In 1964, Vince Salandria was a history teacher at Bartram High School with a law degree who did legal work on the side when Specter was invited by the local bar association to give a talk concerning his work for the Commission. Specter spoke in front of an audience of 150, and then asked if anyone had a question. Salandria stood up. “Your single bullet theory is a fraud, a magic bullet theory,” he began. “How could anyone support such a blatant absurdity?”
A few years ago a professor in Florida did his own digging around, and uncovered this document through the FOIA that revealed the CIA invented the term “conspiracy theorist” as a derogatory term to be deployed while dismissing critics of the Warren Commission Report. The document outlined a variety of strategies for debunking the debunkers.
Two of the original memes they introduced were “dead people are alive” and “living people are dead.” I don’t know which came first, Elvis or Paul, but both were extensively mined for this counterintelligence propaganda operation.
Both the “Elvis is alive” and “Paul is dead” memes were promoted extensively by the Weekly World News, which I strongly suspect was deployed as a counterintelligence propaganda tool for dumbing down America, a role the entire media complex seems to be embracing these days.
It all got rolling in 1947 when an Army public information officer captured a “flying saucer” on a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico, a story covered prominently in the local newspaper. A few days later, however, the Air Force stepped in and changed the story to a downed weather balloon. Today, we’re told it was a Project Mogul balloon, a top-secret program that placed microphones at high altitudes to check for indications of Soviet nuclear tests. Free-floating spy balloons were being deployed covertly for intelligence gathering at the time, the predecessors of the U2 spy plane. There were many unexplained crashes in the Southwest over the next few decades.
The first big splash was created by Life magazine five years after Roswell when the following sentence appeared on the cover: There is a case for interplanetary saucers.
Barney and Betty Hill were one of the few interracial couples in the early sixties, and also members of the NAACP and the Unitarian Church, two organizations heavily penetrated by spooks. The civil rights movement was of great concern to intel, as was the student youth movement, and the Unitarian Church provided a base of operations for anti-war movements in college towns across America. I know because in my hometown of Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, the Red Herring coffeeshop, located in the basement of the Unitarian Church, became the local counterculture center of gravity, the site where most of our anti-war demonstrations were conceived and planned.
In March 1963, the Hills made their first public admission to members of their own church, and in January 1964, they were hypnotized and tape recorded, while drawings were produced during the session to be presented as evidence.
