KGB and CIA counterintelligence styles were vastly different because America is an open society while Soviet is closed.
KGB had an immense pool of people to pull from. They would seek out the right personality types for covert ops. Super hottie and bisexual candidates of both sexes that could kill on command without raising their blood pressure were the most highly prized recruits.
CIA agents were defectors or White Russians. It was much harder for them to pass as authentic. They relied mostly on hypnosis. Agents would be conditioned to resist breaking cover.
KGB expected a long, protracted struggle and embedded hundreds of sleeper agents who were supposed to become Americans, raise children, even attend churches, and then maybe 20 years down the road, might get activated for a mission. CIA didn’t have that sort of patience.
Tai Chi was central to KGB philosophy, which meant directing energy not engaging it head-on. The first major maneuver was into the Civil Rights movement. And also recruiting lawyers, who were deemed essential to the cause.
The Communist lawyers, most of whom could have been true-believers, created the National Lawyers Guild, which positioned itself as the Knights in Shining Armor for the fight for equal rights in America. A large number of double agents were placed into the NLG, and that list would include Mark Lane, Michael Kennedy, Bill Kunstler, Bernadine Dohrn. In fact, these are the most famous members of the group.
In fact, Jane Fonda, Gloria Steinem, and Dohrn were the CIA’s most highly prized super hotties. Rumors swirled around Fonda’s sexuality for decades. Dohrn, on the other hand, forced bisexuality on all her cadres during her crackpot “Smash Monogamy!” movement.
Fred Hampton was trying to turn the Panthers non-violent while Kennedy and Dohrn were supplying them with assault rifles and C4 and telling them to “kill cops.”
When Fred began denouncing the Weather Underground as lunatics, Chicago police connected with the CIA murdered him, and Dohrn arrived first on the scene to lead press and use his murder as her fulcrum to fame. You can’t imagine a more dishonorable act than trying to exploit Hampton’s death to provoke violence.
It’s the same thing as what happened when Ghetto Brother Black Benji was murdered on the streets of the Bronx. The Ghetto Brothers wanted a war with the gang that killed him, and came to promise blood revenge to Benji’s mother, who said, “My son was all about peace.” Instead of a gang war, the Ghetto Brothers organized the Hoe Ave. Peace Conference that ended gang violence and allowed for the rise of Hip Hop. Hampton had done the same thing in Chicago, ending the war between the Latin Kings, Blackstone Rangers, Gaylords and Vice Lords.
Watch The Americans series about KGB sleepers on Amazon and then imagine its Dorhn and Ayers posing as sane, normal people by day while plotting cop killings at night. The woman on the left plays the Michael Kennedy role (protector of the agents in the field).
They were in direct communication with Soviet, Cuban, and Chinese agents, all of whom advised them not to kill cops, or even use bombs. Of course, they didn’t follow that advice and kept up their terror campaign until it had zero traction left, so they came out of the cold and got university jobs with pensions. KGB sleepers don’t get that treatment, much less cop killers with three dead bodies to explain.
The author of the series says the CIA inadvertently gave him the idea for a series about spies, explaining, “While I was taking the polygraph exam to get in, they asked the question, ‘Are you joining the CIA in order to gain experience about the intelligence community so that you can write about it later’—which had never occurred to me. I was totally joining the CIA because I wanted to be a spy. The job at CIA, which he later described as a mistake, helped him develop several storylines in the series, basing some plot lines on real-life stories, and integrating tactics and methods he learned in his training, such as dead drops and communication protocols.
If there’s a topic of interest to the intelligence community, rest assured there’s a massive tomb detailing every fact known written by some Ivy Leaguer and/or devoted Marxist, published by a prominent company, and given rave reviews by global press outlets. In this regard, I’m certainly reminded of Case Closed by Gerald Posner.
In the 1960s, confusion reigned supreme, and few had any clue regarding deep state machinations driving the collective unconscious. The trail into these operations has been snowed under by an avalanche of disinfo, although enough evidence has been assembled to see the shadows on the cave wall. Of course, those shadows are easily ignored by academia.
Two decades ago, an online researcher appeared suggesting the Los Angeles music scene was a CIA creation, and the sixties were designed to lead the youth into apathy through drug addiction. This same researcher later posted elaborate theories on why we never landed on the moon and why nobody got hurt at the Boston bombing. So right away, you know this person was salting disinfo all along. It makes no difference if he was promoting paranoia for profit, a paid operative of some intelligence agency, or a brainwashed MK/Ultra robot, the result is the same, and such people can never be debated because their positions are immoveable.
Two recent developments have altered this landscape significantly. One was a Neflix documentary exposing the real murderer of Malcolm X (Al-Mustafa Shabazz) and his connections to intelligence operations. The other is publication of the book Chaos, which investigates Charlie Manson’s connections to the CIA.
There is another book recently published but I fear you won’t find anything about either of these revelations: Set the Night on Fire: L.A. in the Sixties. “The Manson gang were bit players compared to the forces of law and order,” write Mike Davis and Jon Weiner, as an explanation why hippie culture is not covered while the text concentrates on black and brown struggles against the LAPD. In fact, those liberation movements were greatly inspired by the Students for a Democratic Society, an organization we know today was infested and destroyed by FBI and CIA spooks operating without knowledge of each other, although both teams were promoting acts of violence.
I don’t know much about Davis other than he’s a lifelong Marxist, but I certainly recognize Weiner because he collected and distributed the FBI files on John Lennon. Now there’s a book of immense interest to the CIA because the assassin resembles a model MK/Ultra case. But you won’t find Weiner writing anything about that issue. Nor does he have anything of value to add to the JFK assassination. His one online comment on the subject is a review of Winter Kills, which presented the absurd theory JFK was killed on orders from his father. Weiner confesses of all the various JFK assassination theories, this one remains “his favorite.” Winter Kills was written by Richard Condon, who also wrote the incredibly insightful The Manchurian Candidate, which JFK enjoyed immensely, and which got made into a movie largely because Frank Sinatra was turned onto the book by JFK. After the rights were secured, JFK had one question for Sinatra: “Who’s going to play the mother?” The book was far more detailed on the complex world of secret societies at the center of power than the movie. The super rich members of the oligarchy are a different species and probably always have been.
Shortly after The Manchurian Candidate film was released, JFK was assassinated, and the parallels between the film and real life too pronounced so the film was shelved. It would not reappear until later in the decade, after evidence of the real MK/Ultra brainwashing campaign had been exposed.
The real story of the assassination of Malcolm X was revealed by historian Abdur-Rahman Muhammad who identified Shabazz (then known as William Bradley) as firing the first and fatal shots with a sawed-off shotgun, but those facts were not widely available until five years ago with the publication of Malcolm X: A Life of Reinvention by Columbia University professor Manning Marable. This revelation was largely ignored until a Netflix documentary was released this year (without giving credit to Muhmmad or Marable).
The Netflix documentary also revealed the FBI had significant assets deep inside the upper circles of the Nation of Islam, although we have no idea how high those assets reached. The assassination was a coproduction between the FBI and the Newark mosque.
Bradley reminds me greatly of another William who assisted wet work for the FBI around the same time. Like Bradley, William O’Neil was recruited after being arrested for a major crime. He became the personal bodyguard to Fred Hampton, who had just been made head of the Black Panthers. Unlike the FBI and CIA plants, Hampton was a pacifist and he’d only agreed to lead the Panthers if they became non-violent. Hampton was also the biggest threat to the emergence of the Weather Underground, which sought to destroy the SDS. But in December 1969, days after Charles Manson was charged in the Tate-LaBianca murders, O’Neil slipped a sleeping pill to Hampton so he would be disabled when the police assassins arrived a few hours later.
After the police assassins departed, the crime scene was left wide open, and among the first to arrive was leader of the Weather Underground, Bernadine Dohrn, who was soon leading the press around the blood-stained, bullet-ridden apartment. This appearance vaulted Dohrn into great celebrityhood and she deployed the murder as the reason why hippies needed to arm themselves and start shooting police. Dohrn herself would soon be linked to the deaths of numerous officers on both coasts. Soon she would be hailing Manson as a culture hero for “killing pigs,” and devising a three-fingered official Weather Underground “fork salute” as the proper way to hail him.
Six years before Hampton’s murder, on October 31, 1963, an anonymous tip from “Lee” a confidential FBI informant, revealed some men in Chicago were planning to kill JFK, who was due to visit the following day. At the same time, a landlady called police to report four rifles with telescopic sights had been discovered in a room she’d just rented (a room overlooking the route JFK was soon due to follow). The Secret Service was notified and JFK’s trip to Chicago was cancelled.
Strangely, Thomas Arthur Vallee was one of the men at the apartment, and he had been previously posted to the CIA’s secret base in Atsuki, Japan, along with Lee Harvey Oswald. The base launched the U-2 spy planes. Both Vallee and Oswald had since been involved with anti-Castro Cubans in New Orleans, and both were moved into offices overlooking imminent presidential parade routes. A Secret Service agent in Chicago blew the whistle on the cover-up of these facts, but he was swiftly silenced and threatened with jail. His name was Abraham Bolden.
But the important news is the policeman assigned to spy on Valle was Daniel Groth, the same policeman sent to execute Fred Hampton. Jon Weiner is an editor at The Nation, which has always held firm to the Warren Commission’s absurd findings, which is why it’s not surprising Weiner hasn’t been investigating MK/Ultra links running through suspicious assassinations.
The Nation is run by Katrina vanden Heuvel, who is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Her father William vanden Heuvel was a protege of William Donovan, who headed the Office of Strategic Services, precursor of the CIA. Even more telling, vanden Heuvel was the personal attorney for Yale Bonesman W.A. Harriman.
Thanks to a group of counterculture burglars, the FBI’s Cointelpro operation was exposed in March of 1971, which forced the FBI to shred the records, which eventually allowed Dohrn to come out of the cold to accept a tenured professorship at a major university. This is how you read the shadows on the cave wall because real social activists like Malcolm X and Hampton are always disappeared, while intel stooges like Dohrn are rehabilitated into the upper echelons of academia.
Thanks to deep pockets, the deep state was very busy in the 1960s, when a billion dollar slush fund for global operations was being administered in secret. The interest alone on these funds amounted to millions annually. It was all thanks to stolen treasure buried by retreating Japanese after they systematically looted China, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Indochina and the Philippines. Performed in the dead of night, the treasure burials were so secret the workers were often buried alive inside the tombs. Only a handful of members of the Japanese royal family knew about the operation, and they possessed coded maps to the sites. At some point, they had hoped to recover the loot, the value of which someday might reach several trillion dollars.
Apparently, since the Philippines is a Catholic country, Opus Dei and the Vatican may have washed the stolen loot into the banking system at the behest of our CIA, and this might explain why so many Catholics rose to the tippy top of the national security state. The operation had been under supervision of a WASP Boner from Yale, Henry Stimson, whose staff would soon rise to great power and influence. Whoever controls these secret funds today is the CIA’s most closely guarded secret. The interest has been a bottomless pit of secret funding for covert ops. There was a powerful alliance forged between Catholic societies and the deep state during the Cold War as both had an interest in suppressing the rise of Communism.
Those in power understand the importance of infiltrating the competition. If the other side is poorly funded and disorganized (and your side has deep pockets), it’s a simple matter to shower them with competent volunteers and generous donations, and within a short time, engineer assets into positions of influence. The object is to foster a competitive dialectic that insures your bottom line reigns supreme.
Communism attracted the attention of banks the same reason why rightwing dictators are so beloved by the CIA. Communism allows a small insider cabal to attain full control of the economy without messy complications of a democracy. The reason why a global liberation movement based on democracy never emerged is because no bank wants to fund third world democracy. The CIA could have easily created such a movement with the slush fund, but instead they had a different agenda.
In the mid-sixties, the Students for Democratic Society (SDS) emerged as the most powerful force opposing institutional racism and the organization was immediately penetrated by hundreds of FBI informants. We know this because the FBI files were recently uncovered through the FOIA. But what these FBI files didn’t reveal is a deeper layer implanted into the SDS at the same time by the CIA. A small fanatical group of Marxist-Leninists successfully led a takeover of the SDS that immediately destroyed the organization as an effective force in America. It was no accident.
Today, there’s a vast Tin Foil Hat brigade spreading confusion on what happened. One of their memes is that hippie culture was a CIA op that involved manipulation of the recording industry to foster drug use. In this scenario the deep state wanted to pacify disaffected youth. The same researchers spreading this meme, also promote “nobody got hurt at the Boston bombing,” and “we never landed on the moon,” and other obvious propaganda hoodwinks, memes deployed so real deep state researchers can be branded as conspiracy kooks.
By 1969, SDS was focused on resistance to the expanding War in Vietnam, and this is when two Marxist-Leninist groups attempted take-overs. One was the Progressive Labor Party and the other became known as The Weathermen. The PLP dressed conservatively and abhorred hippie culture while the Weatherman recruited exclusively through this culture. At the national convention in Chicago, the PLP was well-positioned to seize control of the rapidly expanding organization. That changed after Bernadine Dohrn engineered a dogma schism and staged a walk-out supported vigorously by hundreds of FBI plants. She also took along the mailing list and national files. Afterwards, internal FBI memos indicated immense agency delight in having blocked the better organized and more professional PLP from attaining the throne of power.
The entire FBI war on the Weathermen was inept beyond belief, and eventually it was the FBI who scrubbed 90% of the files when the government went after the FBI for Cointelpro activities, most of which were directed at the Panthers and the Weathermen. At least one FBI informant attended every single major pow-wow, indicating the command structure could have easily been rounded up early in the game. One informant grew angry by the inaction. Eventually, he was force fed LSD and assaulted physically and emotionally in an MK/Ultra-like behavior modification session designed to break his cover. Fortunately, he had palmed the LSD, and responded by scampering around the room on all fours squealing, “Yes, I’m a pig, oink, oink, oink.”
Communism in America ran largely through the National Lawyers Guild (NLG), which split from the American Bar Association over the issue of institutional racism. Funding and operational control of the Weathermen likely flowed through the NLG. Dohrn, who led the putsch that splintered the SDS was also the first law student organizer for NLG.
The most influential and vehement voice against Dohrn inside the counterculture was Black Panther leader Fred Hampton, who had defused the Chicago gang wars and turned the Panthers non-violent. Dohrn responded by branding Hampton a counter-revolutionary.
Within weeks, Hampton was assassinated by Chicago police while asleep. His entourage was also riddled by FBI penetrations and Hampton’s bodyguard had left the door unlocked for the police after slipping his boss a sleeping pill. It was no accident that immediately after this vicious murder, the apartment was left wide open by departing police. And who was among the first to arrive? Why none other than Bernadine Dohrn, who led the press through the blood-stained apartment giving speeches on why the counterculture now needed to take up arms and start shooting police in retaliation.
This press event was deployed to catapult Dohrn into the spotlight, and for years her every press release received extensive coverage in the national media, far beyond any threat she actually posed to America. Dohrn and her handful of devotees, some of whom were undoubtedly CIA operatives, declared war on the United States, went underground, and began bombing police stations.
Dohrn and her cohorts considered Charlie Manson and Sirhan Sirhan their culture heroes, the same way most Marxists declare the insane John Brown a culture hero for sparking the Civil War. Strange that Brown’s militant abolitionist movement was funded by the founder of Yale’s Skull & Bones. It would seem instigating violence in support of rapid social change is not new. And oddly enough, Brown’s real role was not sparking black slaves to revolt, but sparking Southern States to secede so a war could commence simply by planting that fear in the Southern consciousness the exact same way Dohrn was implanting a similar fear in the minds of Middle American. So please don’t think the Weathermen were ever going to take over America. That was never the plan. The purpose of Dohrn’s celebration of violence, and the reason she got so much traction in the national media, is because her purpose was to paint the counterculture as violent in order that sane Americans would remain fearful of hippies, most of whom were non-violent and only promoting racial equality and ending wars of invasion. The more strident Dohrn’s insane rhetoric, the more effective she was in scaring Middle America. The war continued for years longer than it should have simply because Americans supported it, support propped up by intel psyops, the most important of which involved the creation of the violent Weather Underground.
Oddly enough Dohrn’s lawyer and NLG interface was a devoted Catholic raised in a Jesuit boarding school, which brings this blog full circle. You see, the Yale society that included Stimson and the many Bush boys, the one that funded John Brown, practiced rituals modeled on the original Bavarian Illuminati, a society created at a Jesuit university by a lawyer specializing in Catholic canon law. After the death of Tom Forcade, Michael Kennedy got control of High Times magazine and ran the counterculture institution into the ground while siphoning off profits for himself. Whilst claiming to support the world Communist revolution, Kennedy remained a most devoted Catholic his entire life, while leading the life of a patrician and climbing the social ladder in New York City.
The best evidence of Dohrn’s intel connection is that despite being linked to numerous bombings and raids that led to the deaths of policemen on both coasts, she came out of the cold and after serving just a few months in jail, skipped straight into a cushy university professorship with tenure and a pension. A much different fate awaits the real social revolutionary. Take Fred Hampton, for example.
The award-winning 1966 film Battle of Algiers documented the explosion of terror and violence that paved the road for Algerian independence. As Africa’s largest country…and rich in natural gas…Algeria was a choice plum for European imperialism. In 1830, under the shakiest of pretenses, the French invaded and within a few years 825,000 Algerians (one third the population) were dead.
The French confiscated choice lands and awarded real estate to European immigrants who arrived in droves, eventually becoming the majority in the capital city of Algeria. Citizenship was granted to Europeans, Christians and Jews, but Muslims were denied. The Jews became the go-between Muslims and French, and both sides initially tried to recruit them, although most sided with France, something they may have regretted after Vichy France began persecuting Jews. The Nazis built an ideological bridge between fascism and Arab nationalism fueled by mutual hatred. When the British and Americans landed in Africa, the Vichy forces initially tried to repel the Allies, but were eventually allowed to switch sides, greatly angering the free French forces led by Charles de Gaulle.
On May 8, 1945, the same day Nazi Germany surrendered, Muslim activists held victory marches that provoked violent responses from French occupiers. The ensuing street massacres put a lid on the simmering independence movement for almost a decade, but in 1954, the movement resurfaced in force through the appearance of the National Liberation Front (FLN), a merger of Communist and Islamic ideologies. The FLN began a savage campaign of assassinating Harkies and their dependents. Harkies were Muslims serving in the French army who acted as police. As many as 150,000 may have been murdered. Harkies and their families weren’t the only casualties as the French launched a counter attack on Muslims. As many as 700,000 perished and two million displaced during the eight years of unrelenting violence.
Shot in black & white, Battle of Algiers had the look and feel of a behind-the-scenes newsreel. Rather than take sides or mine the subject for emotional response, it coolly revealed turpitude and affinity for violence shared by both sides. Within a few months, the FLN became the template upon which the savage Weather Underground was created. Strangely, the leaders of that movement (which effectively destroyed the non-violent Students for a Democratic Society), were sons and daughters of the super wealthy, although they rounded up a handful of acolytes by preaching a twisted form of self-hatred for the American middle class, an indoctrination accompanied with drug-fueled orgies designed to break down individuality and moral codes. It had all the makings of a intelligence mind-control operation.
After the Weather Underground declared war on America and went into hiding, they divided into cells exactly like the FLN and began releasing communiqués exactly like the FLN, and informed their ranks millions would soon die in the coming war. Many of their parents would be forced into concentration camps once the revolution succeeded. The war was quietly launched with some small pipe bombs planted in police parking lots in the Bay Area, set to go-off during lunch hour. Although they never took credit for these two bombings, rest assured they were most likely the initial attempts to spark war between police and the emerging counterculture. Like all Communist revolutions, the Weather Underground cell structure was designed to protect the organization’s leaders from exposure once the killing began. In truth, the Weather Underground cells had been penetrated on inception, although the many FBI informants planted in the lower ranks, had no idea the key lawyer running and funding the organization had his own mysterious connections to counterintelligence.
The springboard used to catapult the organization into the national spotlight was the murder of Fred Hampton by Chicago police connected to counterintelligence. Not so coincidentally, Bernadine Dohrn was immediately on the scene leading the press on tours of the murder site (strangely left wide open by Chicago police) while giving lectures on the need for reprisals, despite Hampton’s total dedication to non-violence. Hampton was rising inside the Black Panthers, the most respected black rights organization, and leading the membership away from armed insurrection and toward what Hampton dubbed “the rainbow coalition.” Hampton was the biggest detractor of the Weather Underground inside the counterculture and dubbed the group as insanely “Custeristic.” So you can see how killing Hampton served the interest of the Weather Underground while also allowing them to exploit his death as a fulcrum for convincing clueless teenagers to support violence as the only logical response.
The blood bath they plotted was severely hampered, however, when their first major bomb blew up while being constructed in New York City and killed three of their own. The mega-bomb had been planned for a cadet dance at Fort Dix but instead destroyed a million-dollar townhouse in Greenwich Village. The deaths sent shivers through the organization, and the leaders rapidly dialed back on future murder plots, although the “kill-cop” rhetoric continued unabated and infected many others. Eventually the Weather Underground would be responsible for four police murders, but played a role instigating at least fifteen others fomented by the United Freedom Front (1), Symbionese Liberation Army (1), and Black Liberation Army (13). But that’s just the tip-of-the-iceberg, because our interventions in Indochina resulted in 3.5 million deaths, and many of those could have been avoided had the senseless war ended sooner. Had a vast majority of Americans rejected the war early on, President Nixon would have been forced to dial back. But by presenting the counterculture in such an intensively negative light, the Weather Underground made sure middle America sided with the President’s reasonable requests for the rule of law and order to prevail.
Even stranger is the fact that after Timothy Leary was renditioned back to a high security cell and held in isolation while enduring the most savage interrogations of his life, he caved and told everything he knew about the Weather Underground that had broken him out of jail, provided him with a fake passport and whisked him off to Algeria to join forces with Eldridge Cleaver in fomenting a wave of violence. They even had put out a press release claiming Leary was now “armed and dangerous” and ready to join the ranks of the immortal cop killers, unrepentant murderers the Weather Underground lionized. Strange that upon his caving, the word immediately went out that Leary was a stool pigeon. Predictably, the head of the National Lawyers’ Guild called for someone to assassinate Leary, a feat designed to send a message to future traitors to the Communist cause. Unpredictably, Leary was taken out of prison and driven around the country so he could point out the safe houses he’d stayed at while describing the occupants in great detail. During this escapade, a revolver placed on the floor of the vehicle by the FBI agent in the passenger’s seat slid back into Leary’s view, and he realized he could easily pick it up and assassinate both cops. Fortunately, he declined to touch the weapon, and that likely saved his life, for I feel sure had he picked up that gun, he would have been instantly killed on the spot. Strangely, although Leary spilled all the beans he could, his confession never amounted to an arrest or interrogation of anyone. Soon the principle leaders of the terrorist Weather Underground would emerge from hiding, but only after all the FBI files on them mysteriously disappeared, which allowed them to accept high-paying gigs at major universities. Now retired, they continue to collect pensions.
Meanwhile, there’s an attempt to whitewash the Weather Underground as being led by earnest radicals, instead of exposing the organization as the state-sponsored counterterrorism psyop it really was. The purpose of the organization was not to foment a revolution as that concept never had a prayer of success due to their tactics. The real purpose was to frighten middle America away from supporting the peace movement sweeping the country, something they were easily able to accomplish with some random bombings and advocation of Charles Manson and Sirhan Sirhan as counterculture heroes. But there’s a karmic load that accompanies violence and a day of reckoning is coming. You only have to turn this log over to see the vermin hiding underneath.
The proletariat must organize lawyers in various countries who sympathize with the liberation struggle. Together with the legal bureau of the International Red Aid (IRA), organize in every country, in particular England, the USA and Japan, and strive to enlarge the number of new cadres. IRA directive issued in at the Second International Conference, Moscow, 1927.
Admission to the bar is not just about training, but moral character and a sacred oath to uphold the Constitution. Participation in conspiracies involving subversion, violence and terror is a gross violation of this oath. The National Lawyers Guild was founded by Communist Party members to spread a Communist agenda. Of course, propaganda was designed to make the Guild appear as a do-gooder champion of the little guy. Behind the scenes a different story was unfolding.
It would be naive not to realize the Communist Party has been dotted with spooks of all persuasions since inception. They did not provoke the revolution in Russia, they subverted a democratic/socialist government that had emerged. The first act of the revolution had been to abolish the death penalty, as the Czars secret police had murdered so many. The first act of the Communists (Trotsky, Lenin, Stalin) was to reassert the death penalty and use it on the Czar and his family, including the children. This is all you need to know about the origins of Communism.
My thesis is that a group of secret agents were sent into this orbit for the purpose of managing counterintelligence operations. These lawyers were pretending to submit to Communist dogmas, but were really spooks reporting to the highest levels of the national security state.
In the 1960s, the primary mission of this operation was to outflank the emerging peace and freedom movement by fomenting acts of terror that would drive the population toward the political right.
The spearhead of this infiltration was Louis Boudin (working with John Reed and Jay Gladstone), and later passed to Boudin’s nephew, Leonard, whose daughter Kathy would join the Weather Underground, assist the assassination of three police in a failed bank robbery, and wind up a tenured professor at Colombia University. Go figure.
In 2008, Boudin was Sheinberg Scholar-in-Residence at New York University’s School of Law, lecturing on “the politics of parole and re-entry.”
The takeover of the Russian revolution by a small cadre funded by Wall Street was mirrored by the Weather Underground takeover of the SDS funded by the National Lawyers Guild.
You might think Washington DC think tanks are conservative by nature, but the first one created is decidedly leftist: the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS), founded by former concert pianist Marcus Raskin and Boston lawyer Richard Barnet in 1963.
Strangely, Raskin was an aide to McGeorge Bundy, while Barnet worked for John J. McCloy at the State Department.
You’d be hard-pressed to find two more well-connected members of the oligarchy than Bundy and McCloy. Bundy was the Bonesman offspring of two powerful Boston Brahmin clans who rose to head the CIA-connected Ford Foundation. He was an intelligence officer during WWII and afterwards co-wrote Bonesman Henry Stimson’s autobiography. In 1949, he was appointed secretary of the powerful Council on Foreign Relations and began having private meetings with General Dwight Eisenhower, who would soon be president, and Allen Dulles, who Eisenhower would put in charge of intelligence operations.
These meetings no doubt involved David Rockefeller, who would soon chair a committee to completely reorganize the government. In 1954, Rockefeller was made special assistant on psychological war, and the following year he created the Planning Coordination Group for running covert counterintelligence responses to national security issues.
McCloy served as head of the World Bank and became a member of the highly sensitive Warren Commission. Before WWII, McCloy was North American attorney for I.G. Farben, largest corporation in Europe, and after the war he was Bonesman Stimson’s aide when Stimson devised the Black Eagle Fund and disappeared billions in Nazi and Japanese stolen gold, which was divvied up into hundreds of secret funds in banks around the world, while dividends and interest used to topple democracies unfavorable to Wall Street interests, while fomenting right and left-wing terror squads to drive the dialectical confrontations.
The US military HQ was set-up inside Farben’s massive complex, which strangely was never bombed during the war, even though it represented the nerve center of Germany’s industrial and chemical operations, perhaps due to the close relations between Farben and Rockefeller’s Standard Oil, companies that did business throughout the war. Farben quickly became Hitler’s biggest corporate booster and financial sponsor, while its in-house intelligence network became the brains behind the SS and Gestapo. In fact, Farben had been the brainchild of John Foster Dulles, Eisenhower’s Secretary of State, and Dulles helped design the immense complex housing over 200,000 workers.
I find it disturbing the US high command occupied the same offices where Zyclon B was designed, and immediately began transferring 700 Nazi scientists (as well as many sadistic war criminals) into North and South America with new identities, a highly secret project called “Paperclip” that was greatly assisted by the Vatican, whose bank was cut into the action on the Black Eagle Fund through Opus Dei operatives in the Philippines, which is why you’ll find so many Malta Knights at the top of the CIA today, and why Opus Dei commands so much power inside the Vatican Bank. McCloy was put in charge of Germany and swiftly pardoned any Nazis they wanted recruited.
Now what are the odds aides of these immensely powerful insiders (whose families were long-time Republicans) would create a center of energy on radical activity in America? Whenever I find operations like this, I suspect spooks at work.
Funding for IPS came from two sources: Philip Stern, heir to the Sears fortune in Chicago, and banker James Warburg, whose father designed the Federal Reserve, a privately-held banking cartel that rules our money supply and sets interest rates. Warburg’s uncle, Jacob Schiff, financed the Japanese attack on Russia and was partners with Bonesman E.H. Harriman. Schiff’s father was the primary broker for the Rothschilds and the family played a leading role in funding Zionism. These deep connections indicate IPS was no accidental grassroots emanation, but a conscious construction of a system it was designed to attack, which is standard spook operational procedure because if there’s going to be something attacking you, it’s best if you secretly manipulate it so there’s no unintended harm to your bottom line.
I suspect IPS appeared shortly after the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) released the Port Huron Statement because SDS was gathering momentum quickly and threatening a socialist youth revolt. However, by 1969, SDS was shattered by internal divisions fomented by undercover agents, while its center of energy was stolen by a small group of fanatics who supported terror tactics and murder. They called themselves “The Weathermen” after a Bob Dylan song and they were funded by IPS. The Weathermen destroyed the student youth movement by driving it off a cliff.
“I was right there,” says Patti Astor. ” SDS was really gathering steam and poised to become a real force and the Weather Underground blew the whole thing to shit. It was a serious, like almost a body snatching scenario, where one day everything was fine, and the next…people you KNEW were screaming about getting in cells and tons of crazy shit.”
The true leaders of the Weather Underground were Bernadine Dohrn and Bill Ayers. Ayers’ father was immensely wealthy. He was CEO of Commonwealth Edison and sat on many boards, including Sears’, where he likely would have been seated next to IPS sugar daddy Philip Stern.
Dohrn also had a privileged upbringing in Minneapolis and ended up at the Rockefeller-funded University of Chicago Law School, where she became the first student organizer for the communist-infested National Lawyers Guild (NLG). In fact, IPS was run by Yale law school grad Peter Weiss, an Austrian-born lawyer and prominent leader inside NLG, although his wife Cora also seems to have played a prominent role.
Although they deny it today, Dohrn and Ayers were the most blood-thirsty instigators and always ready to up the stakes. Dohrn’s most famous quote came at the “Wargasm” they organized in Flint, Michigan. In reference to the recent murder of Sharon Tate, she announced: “First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, then they even shoved a fork into the pig Tate’s stomach! Wild!” In homage to Hitler, she created a three-fingered fork salute. They painted Manson as culture hero and role model.
When Timothy Leary was busted in California and jailed for ten years for possessing two joints, President Richard Nixon already considered him the most dangerous man in America. Leary was a brilliant psychologist and designed a personality profile quiz he was forced to take when he checked into prison. The problem with Leary, however, is that he was already blanketed by spooks when he arrived in California. The Weathermen seized on his incarceration as an opportunity to bust Leary out and whisk him to Africa, and they employed the escape as a publicity stunt to enhance their visibility.
Dohrn wore a button on her blouse: “cunnilingus is cool, fellatio is fun” while showing off massive cleavage. Steve Tappis requested she button up and she responded by pulling out a breast. “You like this tit?” she said. “Take it.” Eventually, participation in group orgies became compulsory inside the Weather Underground, resulting in widespread genital infections known as “weather crud.” In this regard, they resembled the Process Church of Final Judgment, who also deployed drugs and sex games to reprogram the flock.
On February 12, 1970, two bombs went off in the Berkeley Police station parking lot during a shift change, allegedly to maximize the death count, yet thankfully no officers were killed. But four days later another bomb went off during a shift change at a station in San Francisco, and this one did succeed in murdering an innocent officer.
Isn’t it strange that when Leary was captured and brought back to prison with his sentence greatly enhanced, he caved and told everything he knew about the Weathermen who’d broken him out of jail and whisked him to Africa with a fake passport. Funny, though, nothing ever came of his confession. Not a single arrest nor interrogation. Bizarre, considering the Weathermen are supposed to be the FBI’s number one target.
It gets even stranger because Ayers and Dohrn eventually became tenured professors in Chicago, holding down high-paying gigs at major universities. It’s unfathomable how two terrorists on the most-wanted list could live a life on the lam for over a decade and then emerge in 1980 and serve no jail time. In fact, Dohrn almost immediately got a gig with the most prestigious law firm in Chicago (the same one that hired Obama and Michelle). Most charges against the Weathermen had already been dropped. This is the opposite of what typically happens when cop killers come to court.
The most prominent spokesman for IPS is Noam Chomsky, who is a 9/11 conspiracy denier who faithfully supports the official cover-story. In fact, Chomsky claims the reason he knows 9/11 wasn’t an inside job is because if it had been, the hijackers would have been sheep-dipped as Iraqi and not Saudi. This position makes zero sense and ignores the close personal relationship between the Bonesmen Bush family and the ruling Saudi royal houses. The other primary supporter of the official story in the media is John Foster “Chip” Berlet, who used to oversee a propaganda network funded through the Ford Foundation.
Berlet was also a prominent figure inside the National Lawyers Guild (as well as the CIA-sponsored National Student Association) and Berlet was apparently an undercover FBI informant in Chicago for a time, and he seems to have some sort of relationship with the Mossad because he frequently appears in the media as an expert on their operations.
Berlet’s stockbroker father, Col. George Numa Berlet, Jr., named his son after John Foster Dulles, former Secretary of State and head of the most powerful law firm in America, Sullivan & Cromwell. It was John Foster Dulles who created I.G. Farben by convincing six German corporations to merge, and as bait, Dulles arranged huge loans from Wall Street to seal the deal. Farben was designed largely to mimic operations of Standard Oil, which became a major investor in Farben, joining Max Warburg and the DuPonts. Today, Berlet has become a leader in helping foment a new inquisition, which brands political heretics as lunatics deserving incarceration and forced medication simply for not accepting the official stories on 9/11 and the JFK assassination. He dubbed this imaginary mental disorder as: “conspiracism.”
The IPS works hand-in-glove with the oldest magazine in America, The Nation, run by Katrina vanden Heuvel, who sits on the IPS board and is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Her father William vanden Heuvel was a protege of William Donovan, who headed the Office of Strategic Services, precursor of the CIA. Even more telling, vanden Heuvel was the personal attorney for Bonesman W.A. Harriman.
Maybe you can see the incredible tight-knit relationship between all these characters and why I suspect staged confrontations and propaganda psyops are in play. This is the real world, a spook-infested wilderness of mirrors, where up is down and black is white.
